Instructions:
1. Analyze parts of the learning activities throughout Module 1.
Learning 1 (personal letter)
 reading some personal letters as the beginning.
 Strengthen our understanding by Analyzing the social function of those
letters looking at the context of situation, the target receiver and the
important points of the letters.
 Strengthen it more by Analyzing the structures of the letters; looking
at the layout, the detailed information.
 Strengthen it more by Analyzing the lexico-grammatical features
 The last proving activity after learning 3 parts lessons is constructing
our own personal letters,

Learning activity 2 (announcement)


The sequence of learning activities are the same as the personal letters.
We begin the lesson with analyzing the text from every sides, the we end the
lessons constructing our own announcement to prove that we have understood
already.

Learning activity 3 ( analytical exposition text)


For this learning activity, the sequence of the activities is the same as in
lesson 1 and 2. But this text is little bit academicals since it tries to persuade
the readers to pay attention to the issue.

Learning activity 4 (hortatory exposition text)


In this lesson, the activity is more simple because analytical and hortatory text
is slightly the same, only the last part of the structure is different. therefore
We just read the texts, analyzing them and constructing our own text.

2. Provide comments on each of the activities including its strength and


weaknesses.
Strength
 There are more than two example texts for each learning activity. So it
makes us gain our understanding of the texts, broaden our knowledge
too
 The video of each lesson supports a lot to comprehend the lessons so
that we can create our own text as the prove.
 It provides the templates of the task.

Weaknesses.
 Some task instruction are clear enough but we are confused what we
need to upload, the task is only reading the text.
 There are not any example of the text in spoken one. Such as in
analytical and hortatory text.
3. Share your opinion about the contribution of this particular module to improve
your professional competencies.

I think this module reinforce my comprehension of the texts. Then,


constructing the text is becoming the very important part contributing to my
professional competencies.
