 LOCATION
The college started functioning at its new campus
from 1st Aug 17 with completion of various facilities i.e
academic block, cadets’ hostel, staff barracks and
power house and sports fields etc. The academic
building named as Quaid Block; is a state of the art
building which is equipped with requisite training aids,
modern labs, multi-function hall, modern library etc.

ORGANIZATION
Pakistan Navy Cadet College Ormara functions under the guidance and control of Pakistan Navy through
Board of Governor headed by Commander Coast and comprising members representing Pakistan Navy,
Federal and Balochistan Government. A dedicated team of officers manages the day to day affairs of
the college, headed by Principal of the rank of Commodore. The hierarchy comprises facilitators in the
Administration and Academic Wings. The faculty consists of ably qualified, experienced and committed
uniformed and civilian instructors who are acting as beacons for direction and education.

ACHIEVEMENTS
• College achieved 100% result in FBISE exams of SSC in 2016, 2017, 2018 as well as 2019.

• College participated in All Pakistan Ellite Institutions Talent Contest at Cadet College Larkana and won a
Consolation Prize in Essay Writing Competition on a topic of “Man is the architect of His Own Fortune”,
in Nov 2018.

• College participated in “All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest’’ at PAF Academy Risalpur on 15-18
Nov 18 and secured 1st position in Urdu Declamation Speech & 3rd position in English Declamation
Speech.

• College participated in Hifz o Qirat and Naat Khawani competition held at Bahria College NORE-I on 28
Nov 18 and won Consolation Prize.

• Third Parents’ Day of the college was held on 15 Dec18. Honourable Governor Baluchistan, Mr Aman
Ullah Khan Yasinzai graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

Detail of N-Cadets scheme is as under:
• The N-Cadet Scheme is exclusively for
the cadets hailing from Balochistan
Province. 50% strength of the college is
reserved for N-Cadets.
• N-Cadets join the college in class VIII,
as per eligibility criteria. On successful
completion of class XII, they will join
Pakistan Naval Academy as Cadets,
subject to meeting criteria and standards
for commission in Pakistan Navy.

For class VIII, out of remaining 50%
of the total seats, 25% are for other
provinces and 25% for sons/wards of PN
personnel (including PN Civilians).

15 seats are reserved for candidates
appearing in Self Finance Scheme.
However, in order to get admission in the
self-finance scheme, the candidate must
qualify all phases with at least overall 50%
marks. Candidates from all provinces can
apply in the said category.

• Be a male citizen of Pakistan
• Domicile/ Local certificate from Balochistan and School Certificate from Class I to VII of
any school from Balochistan
• Local certificates / domicile will be verified by concerned Commissioner / Balochistan
authorities and will be accepted only if certified as true documents
• The candidate should not be a student of any Cadet College/ Residential Institute of
Balochistan.
• Age limit 12-15 years on 31 March 2020. (Waiver of upto90days may be granted in upper
& lower limit).
• Be unmarried (contracting marriage during training is not allowed).
• Must have passed class VII obtaining not less than 45% marks.
• Candidates appearing in 7th class exam may be accepted provisionally (hope certificate duly
signed by Principal of concerned school is also required).
• Merit list of qualified candidates will be prepared quota wise after conduct of all phases.
Finally selected candidates will be called accordingly.
Paying / Self Finance Scheme Cadets:
A candidate for these schemes must fulfill eligibility conditions as under:
• Be a male citizen of Pakistan.
• Age 12-14 years on 31 March 2020 with waiver of 90 days in upper & lower limit.
• Be unmarried (contracting marriage during training is not allowed).
• Must have passed class VII obtaining not less than 45% marks.

Fee Submission
• All dues are to be paid by ‘Paying and self-finance scheme cadets’ in advance through fee slip provided by the college payable at any
online MCB Branch.
• All payments are to be made on term basis and should reach the bank by 15th of the first month of each term.
• Fee slips will be issued to parents 2-3 weeks before the due date.
• A penalty @ Rs 50/- for first 30 days and @ Rs 100/- for next 15 days will be imposed in case of nonpayment of fee by stipulated date.
• The name of the cadet may be struck off from the college at any time if the fee becomes overdue more than total fee of one semester.
• Payment of the college dues is made for the whole term. There is no provision of part adjustments, refund or remission of the amount
to be paid, even if a student remains on the College roll for only a part of the term.

Fee Refund Policy

Fee refund policy in case of both Paying Cadet and Self Finance Scheme is as follows:
• If the cadet deposits the fee and does not join PN CCO, full fee may be refunded.
• If he pays the fee and reports PN CCO and later on requests for release then only security deposit will be refunded.

qualify as ‘valuable’. Cell phone without
camera may be kept, however, the same
will be in safe custody of college and will
be issued on prescribed / scheduled timings
for communicating with family / parents.
Note: Any prohibited item confiscated
will not be returned to cadet/ parent/
guardian.
EXPULSION /
WITHDRAWAL threatened or compromised
A cadet will be expelled from the college if
he commits any of the following acts and
the decision of the college authority shall
be final and irrevocable:
Academics
• Failure to come up to the desired
standard of education.
• Failing in three or more subjects in
annual examination.
• Failing in two successive terminal
examinations.
• Obtain less than 50% marks in Board
exam of any class.
Discipline
• Cheating in exams or in any manner
• Committing theft
• Grave immoral conduct, i.e. willful
attempt or actual conduct of unnatural
kind
• Physical violence or attempt thereof,
resulting in grievous injury or having
potential to cause harm
• Repeated or prolonged absence (without
leave) from the college
• Repeated bunking or smoking
• Any immoral, undesirable or
unbecoming conduct, while on leave
• Willful/serious damage to Government
property
• Instigating other cadets or acting as ring
leader to violate or undermine college
policies, rules or orders, wherein good
order and discipline of the institution is
• Any collective or group activity which
is illegal and unauthorized and tends
to undermine or compromise the good
atmosphere of the college and state and
 its overall discipline
• Possession or use of drugs and
intoxicants
• Any other dishonorable act below the
established standards of conduct at the
college

Curricular Activities
For talent hunting, great importance is laid
on extracurricular, literary, cultural and
religious activities in the College, as these
activities play a vital role in grooming and
shaping the personality of the cadets. In this
context, great emphasis is laid to develop
public speaking skills in students as well.
Clubs
To provide ample opportunities to the
cadets for realizing their potential to the
full, various clubs remain active at the
college round the year. These include
Dramatic & Cultural Clubs, Debating
Club, Science Club, Fine Arts Club,
Photography Club, Computer Club, Physics
Club, Chemistry Club, Horse Riding Club
etc.
Adventurous Activities assembly, where the recitation from Holy
Cadets are afforded opportunities for
hiking/ trekking, mountaineering and para
gliding to experience thrill and exuberance
and develop the spirit of adventure.
Sports Facilities in Youth Initiative Challenge held in
Sufficient number of playgrounds for
football, hockey, cricket and athletics are
available to instill in cadets, the love for
sporting activities and physical fitness.
Facilities are also afforded for swimming,
shooting, water sports and a number
of indoor games. In addition, Physical
Training (PT) and games are regular and
essential segment of general training.
Guest Speakers sailing, hiking/trekking, gardening etc.
Leading luminaries and scholars in their
respective fields are regularly invited
from all over the country to enlighten the
students on the latest developments and
trends in their specific areas. The students
are afforded maximum opportunities to
interact freely with the visiting scholars.
Educational visits
Educational visits to locations of historic
and national significance, educational
institutions, museum, archeological sites
and industries, etc are organized regularly,
with a view to provide cadets with firsthand
knowledge, as well as to arouse a life-long
interest in seeking practical knowledge. Sea
trips on board PN ships and visits to other
provinces are also planned.
Visit Abroad
Two cadets (01 N-Cadet & 01 Paying
Cadet) visited Sri Lanka in October 2014,
2015, 2016, 2017& 2018 to participate
in Hermann Loos and De Zoysa Trophy
competition. The cadets also participated
Azerbaijan in July 2018. Generally 2-3
cadets are nominated for visits abroad
annually.
Hobbies and Pastimes
Pastimes and hobbies clubs are available
at the campus for introducing cadets to
positive pursuits in their leisure time.

national activities of the cadets and
concerted efforts are made to inculcate
the national spirit in them according
to national and Islamic ideology. The

Program (ICPDP)
We firmly believe that only a person with
strong character can become successful in
life. Therefore, we have made Character
Building Program a mandatory part of
cadets’ training. This program effectively
focuses on the development of cadets’
personality traits by giving focused
attention in following aspects:
• To educate, focus and practice six pillars
of character i.e. Trustworthiness, Respect,
Responsibility, Fairness, Care and Good
citizenship
• To develop and enhance communication
skills, teamwork, self-confidence and self-

Religious Upbringing
The guiding principles of our religion are
taught in the classroom, since Islamiat
is a compulsory subject. However,
supplemented by Prayers in the Mosque
(for which provision is made in the College
Routine), observance of fast in the Holy
month of Ramazan and holding functions
on days of religious significance.
General Awareness
Efforts are made to broaden cadets’
mental horizon and general knowledge.
Selected information pertaining to general
knowledge regarding Pakistan and the
world is disseminated through booklet
especially prepared by the College.
All this is compounded by elaborate
Iqbaliat& Pakistan contests, mandatory
library periods and book review / writing
assignments.
Leadership Training
Justifying the role as feeder institution
for Pakistan Naval Academy and other
important institutions, the college caters for
leadership training and character-building
of the cadets. Daily schedule of the class
room instructions, co-curricular pursuits
and supervised house routine is specifically
tailored to contribute tangibly towards the
grooming of the cadets as future leaders.
Prefectorial System
To impart the leadership training, cadets
are given various responsibilities through
a prefectorial system. The appointments
are awarded in two tiers: College and
House level. Junior house appointments
are rotated after a predetermined period to
spread the leadership training canvas.
Medical Facilities
Jinnah Naval Base Ormara has a 100
bedded hospital “PNS DARMAAN
JAH” with specialist available round
the clock. The cadets are afforded this
facility with respect to both indoor and
outdoor patients. In addition, ambulance
and nursing staff is also available in the
accommodation area round the clock to
facilitate cadets and staff.
Emergency
The College takes all possible steps for the
safety and security of cadets. However, the
college will not be held responsible for any
illness, injury, accident, disability or death
of any cadet during his stay at the college.
Visitors
Academic and physical training of the
cadets is paramount importance for the
college. So the college will not appreciate
frequent visits by the parents/guardians,
especially in the initial days of the joining
of cadets to the college. However, parents
and guardians may visit their sons/wards
on following days / timings:
Sundays: 9 AM to 4 PM
Parents, who will visit College on non-
visiting days without informing the college
authorities, will not be guaranteed the
meeting with their sons/wards, unless they

inform the college authorities beforehand.
Visits will be restricted to Visitors Room
and College Cafeteria only. Only parents,
guardians or persons allowed by the
parents will be allowed to meet the cadets.
Names and particulars of relatives and
friends who will be authorized to meet the
cadets must be intimated to the college
in writing, alongwith identification and
complete addresses. Parents will also
be urged to meet/contact the Adjutant/
Housemaster concerned at least once in
a term to stay current on the progress of
their son.
Leave
Leave other than the term breaks
authorized by the college will not be
granted except only on most genuine
reasons. Parents are urged to ensure
that their son returns within the period
of granted leave. It is the parents’
responsibility to collect and return their
son on departure and return. Absence for
sickness must be supported by documents
from a military or a Government
hospital (where military hospitals are
not available). Special leave during the
Term must be applied for in writing to the
Principal well in advance. Cadets can be
granted upto maximum of 5 days leave
on extreme compassionate grounds only.
No leave will be granted for attending
a wedding except the wedding of real
brothers and sisters. (Parents are therefore,
urged to arrange family functions etc.
during vacations or long breaks).

Penalty
On all cases of discipline, disobedience,
defiance of authority, observable
infringement and contravention of college
rules, such as overstaying leave, bunking
and other serious offences, the cadets may
be fined up to Rs.5000/-.
Journey to College / Home
The parents / guardians will be responsible
to arrange safe journey of their sons/wards
for travelling from college to home and
back on weekends/breaks/holidays. The
college may, however, arrange journey
of the cadets by Railway/Road/or Air in
groups, where possible, on behalf of the
parents / guardians.
Withdrawal
Following rules are applied for
withdrawal/ discharge from the college:
• Own Request Parents may request for
withdrawal of their son on payment of full
training charges, as per laid down criteria
by NHQ/BoGs.
• Medical Grounds Once found medically
unfit, cadets will be discharged from the
College.
• Academic Grounds Once observed
academically weak and unable to improve
the academic performance.
Bond/Training Charges As per rules /
regulations, bond/training charges will be
as given below:
• Applying for admission to the college for
their son will automatically mean that they
pledge to abide by all terms and conditions
given in the prospectus or issued by the
College from time to time during cadets
stay at the College.
• It is obligatory for all N-Cadets to apply
for commission in the PN.
• N-Cadets will appear twice for ISSB at
the end of their tenure at the College. In
case of discovery of intentional attempt to
fail at ISSB, the candidate will have to pay
the entire training charges.
• Paying Cadets will be having no binding
to apply for armed forces, however they
will be encouraged to apply and will
be provided necessary assistance for
preparation of ISSB and other tests.
• Following cadets will be required to pay
training and penalty charges, as decided by
BoG from time to time:
• N-Cadets who do not wish to continue
studies on account of maladjustment or
domestic problems.
• N-Cadets who will be withdrawn on
disciplinary or academic grounds on the
recommendation of the college or on their
own request.
• Paying and Self Finance Scheme Cadets
withdraws on their own request.

Q. When admissions in class VIII get open
at PN CCO?
A. Generally advertisement is floated in Sep,
Induction test is held in Oct/Nov and class
joins in April of the next year.
Q. What are the regions for which quota is
reserved in Balochistan?
A. Seats/quota is reserved for Kalat, Na-
seerabad, Sibi, Zhob, Quetta, Makran
Divisions, Quetta city, Tehsil Ormara and
DisttLasbella as per the domicile/local
certificate. Option once given will not be
changed. Candidate can apply only for
his own quota. Application form will be
rejected if division/quota is not selected as
per the local certificate.
Q. How many seats are allocated for self-
finance and how much difference in fee

A. 15 seats are reserved forself-finance scheme.
Presently Rs. 3,00,000/- are more than
