Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE)

established under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 is approved
by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government
of India. Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, the president of Karpagam
Charity trust (KCT), philanthropist, industrialist,
entrepreneur and culture promoter. Contemporary
infrastructure, modern teaching methodologies, career
oriented training, excellent placements and the finest
faculty have always become the Karpagam’s hallmark.

Karpagam aspires to provide a package of value-added features
that are customized to enhance student's educational
experiences:

• Faculty with extensive experience and training, including 234

doctorates and Postdoctoral Fellows

• Visiting teachers from prestigious institutions such as IIM,

IISc, IIT, NIT, and others.

• A professional placement section provides ongoing training

for students' total personality development.

• A vibrant Karpagam Research Centre is on the verge of

bringing inventions and patents to fruition. 59 patents have
been filed, with 16 awarded. Two of the issued patents have
already been commercialized.

PLACEMENTS
The enterprising Training and Placement Cell at Karpagam
Academy of Higher Education (KAHE) gears the students to be
resourceful assets to their future employing organizations.
Towards this, students are prepared with need-based training
right from the first year onwards. Expert trainers from the
industry impart their experience to enlighten the students.
Therefore, comprehensive training in aptitude, soft skills as
well as technical expertise is extended to bring about a well-
rounded development in the students. Interviews and campus
visits are much looked forward to, and every year, an
increasing number of companies are making their presence
felt at campus recruitment. The current year has seen more
than 93% (300 students) get placed in over 20 companies; the
expected placement for the next academic year is eyed to be
an impressive figure of 400 students.
