Greetings of peace and love!

The population of the Senior High School students have grown – new students as well as new teachers that
diverse with different attitudes, characters, styles and interests. It has been 3 weeks since the academic year
have started and yet, there is still a space between the Grade 11 and Grade 12 students. Thus, the newly elected
Supreme Student Government are planning to conduct an activity that aims to eliminate the awkwardness and
boundaries between the students through an event wherein they can socialize, form a bond, and meet new
friends – the Acquaintance Party 2018.
The objective of this activity is to develop sense of belongingness, to acquaint the new peers, get to know
one another through interpersonal communication directed by the event’s undertakings, to experience a brief
background of what the SHS Department is, and to be able to create an environment of strong bond forged by
harmony and cooperation.
The SSG held their first official meeting last July 9, 2018, and one of their agenda is the Acquaintance
Party that will be conducted on July 20, 2018 at the Bicol College Quadrangle, if ever approved. The estimated
expenses are ranging more or less Php35,000 as a payment for the event organizer, De Legazpi. Their service
includes lights and sound systems, UV lights (Neon Themed Party), a male and a female DJ's, 2 event hosts and
mini games plus 5 ticket giveaways (materials and prices are included in the payment).
The SSG Officers will be selling a ticket worth Php99.00 to be used as payment to the organizer and the
excess would be used in photo booth and neon face painting booth to be facilitated by the SSG officers with the
collaboration of other clubs. This event is open for the both Grade 11 and 12 students, it is not compulsory but
the students are encouraged to participate to the said event. We will be calling the League of Leaders, as soon as
the letter will be signed, for them to raise their suggestions regarding this activity.
The Senior High School Department are hoping for your wholehearted and untiring support for this first
ever Acquaintance Party.
