Rules, Mechanics and Criteria of Judging for Gr 8 Speech Choir

1. The contest is open to Grade 8 only

2. One contest piece (Footprints in the Sand by Mary Stevenson) shall be used.
2. Each group shall have a minimum of 10 members
3. Costumes and props shall be allowed
4. Each group shall be given 3 mins to deliver the piece.

Criteria:
1. Interpretation (manner of presentation) 30 %
2. Delivery (voice quality, pronunciation, blending, harmony) 30 %
3. Costume and Props (attire relevance) 20 %
4. Mastery 20 %
