Organizational Plan
I.

In today’s society, we see kids as young as twelve participate in harmful habits such as

smoking, drinking and doing drugs. With one of the most shocking and concerning habits

of these 3 being smoking. It’s a habit widely known for slowly killing those that indulge in

it, though it seems like no one is making much of an effort to stop it. Recently this year,

we’ve been witnesses to the rise of e-cigarettes, starting to stir controversy due to teenagers

getting hold of them due to their appealing flavours and the tobacco rush they obtain from

them. Teenagers shouldn’t be exposed or even encouraged to smoke, many are unaware of

how badly things could end up for them and how they’re being targeted to participate in

this harmful habit.

III.

As to my personal view on this problem, I believe that it’s truly disgusting what society is

promoting, especially those who are capable of manipulating the population with their

idealized idea of how people should be in order off of those in a vulnerable state of mind.

It’s mind boggling how children are susceptible to it at a young age and can develop this

habit while other point and laugh at how amusing it is to see children smoking. More

information should be provided, more experiences should be shared and more people

should condemn the vultures that prey on the weak minded. With the information, the

studies and the anecdotes all on the table, if you’re a teenager, ask yourself this question: Is

your life worth trading for a few nods and praises from your friends?
