    Dear Cap. Vasquez,

    Greetings!

    We the students of NONESCOST Hospitality and Tourism Management with our subject on Heritage Tourism under
    Ms. Helen Arguelles-Cutillar will be conducting a Cultural Mapping activity in Purok Bougainvillea. Cultural
    Mapping is an activity wherein we try to discover tangible and intangible cultural properties present in the
    community. The gathered properties will be documented and will be presented to the barangay and Purok and for
    the use of SIKAD Guide.

    In this regard, we would like to seek your permission and support to this undertaking. We earnestly would like to
    request as well from the Purok of the following.

    * Active cooperation and support during the conduct of the activity

    * To invite 15 or more persons during the Focus Group Discussion which will be on November 18, 2019, 1:30 pm at
    the Kapilla or any venue deemed fit. The 15 persons shall compose of the following

    - 7 Purok Officers
    - 3 Senior Citizens who might have the knowledge on past history and heritage
    - 3 fisher folk leaders
    - 3 youth leaders
    - 2 grade 4-6 students
    - President of Sikad Guide
    - Mrs. Rosalie Alvarado of Syano Artlink

    From the focus group discussion, we hope to get at least 30 or more proposed cultural properties to be mapped and
    suggestions to which we can have an interview.

    We will also be conducting a short survey on the development program of the community as implemented by the
    City, Purok, Syano Artlink, Barangay, and NONESCOST. We will also provide copy of the result of the survey.
