Speed Ball

Class is divided into two groups. Each team has a basketball net at the end line of the playing
area and two goals (bench, hockey net, etc.) for each end corner of their half of the playing
area. Teams pass the ball around in the air, like in basketball (but no bounce pass). If the ball
falls to the ground, it is now played as a soccer ball. A player may kick a ball into his or a
teammates hands, but may not pick up the ball. If a ball is kicked or thrown into the basket,
that team receives 2 points. If a ball is kicked into a corner goal, that team receives 1 point.
The goal is to score more points than the opponents.

Guard The Pin

Players stand in a circle formation. A pin is placed in the middle of the circle and one player is
selected to guard the pin. The teacher gives a foam ball to the players in the circle. Players may
pass the ball to each other until they have a open shot to knock the pin down. Once the pin is
knocked down, the guard may return to the circle and a new guard is selected.

Crossover
Two teams are chosen and placed on either side of the room. A line or cones show the start line
for each team, of which is the safe/finish zone for the opposing team. A line/cones also are
placed at the center of the two teams. On ‘go’, the teams will try to run to the opposite side of
the room. Once teams pass the centre line, they can be tagged by the opposing team. The player
can be unfrozen in two ways. First, a player who has made it to the safe/finish zone, can give
up their position, grab the shoulder of the frozen player and return to the original side. Second,
a player can come across, grab the shoulder of the the frozen player and then return. The game
ends when all players are in the opposing sides’ safe zone.

either by color or number. Special action cards deliver game-changing moments as they help
you defeat your opponents. These include Skips, Reverses, Draw Twos, Wild and Draw Four
Wild cards. You’ll find 25 of each color (red, green, blue, and yellow), eight Wild cards, three
Customizable cards and one Special Rule card inside the 112-card deck. If you can’t make a
match, you must draw from the central pile! And when you’re down to one card, don’t forget
to shout “UNO!” The first player to rid themselves of all the cards in their hand before their
opponents wins.

Pictionary
Playing Pictionary may remind you of Charades, but with drawing on paper instead of acting
out the answers. In Pictionary, though, both teams' (or even all three teams') clue givers may
be drawing at the same time as players strive to be the first to guess the correct answer. When
the answer is not designated "All Play," one team simply tries to come up with the answer
before the timer runs out, which is usually but not always possible thanks to the varying
difficulty levels of the answers.

Jenga
In the game, you build a tower, move the pieces and hope that you aren't the one who makes it
fall. Jenga is played with 54 wooden blocks. Put down placing three blocks facing down. Make
three blocks face the left. Keep on doing this until for all blocks. Jenga played with 2 or more
players. Once the tower is built, try to take a block out by tapping the short side of it, or by
pulling it out. Once you pull it out, place the block on the top of the tower - either facing left
of the blocks, or facing down, or vice versa. Repeat until someone makes the Jenga Tower fall.

Team Juggling
There are many forms of this exercise, but one of the most common is to gather the group into
a circle and have them toss a beanbag or other light object. The object is tossed around and
then gradually more and more beanbags are added as the group improves at the skill.

Pickleball
The game combines themes of tennis, badminton, and table tennis and is played with a ball
similar to a whiffle ball, so people of all ages can play. Critical thinking is a big part of the
appeal as the points develop much slower than table tennis, and communication as well as
cooperation among the players are necessary in order to work together.

Geocaching
Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunting game with a modern twist. Participants use GPS
devices to navigate to a predetermined location and find a treasure (geocache) hidden there.
