1 Design Statement
Design a Dipole with Reflector of 2400MHz frequency.
According to the standard definition, “ The dipole is any one of a class of antennas producing a
radiation pattern approximating that of an elementary electric dipole with a radiating structure
supporting a line current so energized that the current has only one node at each end, and the
work of reflector is to direct the radiation pattern in opposite direction” is termed as the Dipole
with Reflector. Hence, the radiation pattern of the antenna is along to the axis and directed
opposite to reflector.

3 Result Conclusion
• From Table 3, we observe that there is a difference of 0.3 GHz freq in resonance and the
coefficient of reflection is better than the simulated results.

• With successful completion of this workshop and fabrication of Dipole with Reflector I
learnt about the implementation of antenna principle on real life antenna using CADFEKO
and POSTFEKO software.
