I. INTRODUCTION
Electricity is one of the most demanded power source worldwide. It allows people to do
their daily routine easily and comfortably. It deals an important role to our society since we
cannot deny the fact that majority of technology-driven gadgets we use today are electricity
According to Dr. Adoration Navarro of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies
(PIDS), 16 million of the Philippines’ population has no access to electricity from electric
companies. The country has also an overall electrification rate of 83%. Its urban electrification
rate is 94% which is 21 notches higher than it\s 73% rural electrification rate. According to him,
electricity shortages are much greater in rural areas than in urban areas.
Recently, power generators are demanded worldwide widely produced in order to supply
electricity without interfering and will not pass through the process of electric cooperatives. The
main equipment used in the generators are magnets and DC motors. Permanent magnet
machines are well-known and spreading class of rotating and linear electric machines used in
both motoring and generating modes. They have been use for many years in applications where
its structures are simple and has low-cost. More recently, they have applied to more in demand
applications, which is the result of the availability of low-cost power electronic control devices
and the improvement of permanent magnet characteristics. Generally, modern permanent magnet
machines are competitive in both performance and cost with many types of machines. Permanent
magnet generators form a class of permanent magnet machines. Majority of the power generator
usually focuses on charging gadgets like mobile phones, and specific types of battery.
This study focuses mainly on charging certain types of devices and regulating the desired
voltage flow for sustaining the right amount of electricity. This study will be tested if it is more

Electricity is one of the biggest problems that our society is facing, so we will propose a
prototype that will aide in supplying electricity. It helps us when power supply and is low and
this will be a good alternative for electric supply. It will give advantage to the user since it can
We will make this study to supply electricity to appliances and gadgets that we need in
our everyday lifestyle. We noticed that charging a phone in a standard household electrical outlet
takes too long, so we decided to make the Bicycle Power Generator with a battery indicator.
This will have a significant advantage to those people who will be using this device since
the process of producing and supplying electricity is eco-friendly and doesn’t emit greenhouse
gases. It is also lightweight and doesn’t take too much time to manufacture.
This study is limited to the production and efficiency of a prototype that will be a source
The device will be assembled and manufactured in Bislig City National High School’s
Physics Laboratory where the materials and other tools used are found. The testing of the
prototype will be done inside the laboratory so as the analysing the data. The device that will be
used to both tests is a Samsung J5 with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The procedure
was performed by the student researchers with the help and guidance of a professional or a
guardian.

A Vector Controlled Induction Generator Feeding AC motor for different use in isolated
site
The induction machine operating as a generator in isolated areas has receive considerable
attention in recent years, however the main drawback is poor voltage control when speed and
load change. This paper present indirect vector control strategy for both SEIG and induction
motor-(self excited induction generator feeding induction motor for different use) using classical
regulator proportional integral (PI) and Fuzzy controller. The comparison between the two
methods under the same condition is illustrated by simulations. (Rachid El akhrif, Ahmed

The goal of this work is to present a standstill method to Identify induction generator
parameter typically used in wind generation. The method is based on the frequency domain
identification of direct, quadrature and zero sequence frequency response to identify five
parameters of the machine. These test replace the conventional locked-rotor and no-load test.
analysis. The proposed method has been validated using non-linear time-domain simulations of a
660 kW wind generator and the experimental results are validated on a laboratory test bed
whose parameters were already known by conventional test. (I. Zubia, A. Zatarain , C. Alcalde,
This paper proposes a control scheme for the wide operation range of an induction generator (IG)
with a Vienna rectifier. A Vienna rectifier has the limited operation range because the sign of the
current should be the same as that of the voltage in the normal operation. For this reason, the
power factor of a Vienna rectifier is also limited. In the IG, the d-axis stator current is necessary
for the self-excitation of the IG. Usually, the d-axis stator current is controlled to the rated d-axis
current, which means that IG can operate in the low power factor. (Jin-Hyuk Park, June-Seok
Power system restoration has attracted more attention and made great progress of the
power system restoration from 2006 to 2016 is reviewed in this paper such as: black-start,
network reconfiguration and load restoration. Some emerging methods and key techniques are
also discussed in the context of the integration of variable renewable energy and development of
the smart grid. There is a long way to go to achieve automatic self-healing in the bulk power
systems because of its extreme complexity. However, rapidly developing artificial intelligence
technology will eventually enable the step-by-step dynamic decision-making based on the
situation awareness of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and wide area
measurement system (WAMS) in the near future. (Liu; Fan; Terzija, 2016).
It was identified the components needed for the realization of the project such as
inverters, transformer, electric motor, generator. Materials needed have been also identified for
the packaging of the project. The conceptualization of the design has been done by using the
selection process of the components and depending also in the needed flow of the project with
respect to the concepts behind every components. The researcher has come up with the final

Materials that will be used for the experimentation will be prepared that will be needed
for the production of the Bicycle Power Generator with Battery Indicator. Classify and separate
the materials of the two devices that will be assembled later. Prepare also the equipment and
First, assemble the parts like wheels, pedal, chain to the bicycle body and secure it
properly to prevent it from falling apart. Use tools like screwdriver and adjustible to fix bolts,
Second, weld the metal rods that will become the bicycle’s stand. The stand prevents the
bicycle from moving. Thus, it will make the bike neutral when it is used. Make sure that the

will flow into the outlet and will be available for plugging in electrical appliances.
Lastly, all the waste materials that are accumulated during the production will be disposed
properly according to the kind of wastes and segregate it. The chemicals used in the
experimentation are properly disposed and will not be exposed to other people.
