How to add Blog Post and Researcher Posts? 

We are using WP posts for researcher page and home post slider.

1. For adding blog posts and researcher posts, click post and add new as shown in
screenshot

2. Admin can add categories to distinct blog posts and researcher pages, if admin
will select Research member category, the specific will show up on Research page
here:​http://d8.gotoproject.net/wpigs/researchers/

3. To make blog posts feature and show up on the homepage, you have to check
the “​Featured​” option as feature post.

4. Just featured posts will display in the homepage slider (as you can see in the
screenshot)

How you can add Future Conferences? 

Please find details below as how admin can add future conferences according to
implement new design template by using Fusion Builder plugin:

1. Go to Conferences and add new workshop/conference.

2. Click over ​“Edit with Fusion Builder”​ Button

3. Select Page layout button (as shown in the screenshot)

4. A new pop up window will be open, hover over “Load” option and click to any
option to upload conferences page design.

5. After adding the required template design, you can edit the template and can
add content of your own choice.

6. To edit element, please hover over the Text box element, Edit button will be
displayed as shown in the screenshot.

7. Lastly, you have to select the session to displaying conference to its

respective page.

How to add content in the Publication/special issue page? 

1. Goto the pages and click over the publication page(as shown in the screenshot)

2. Then, click over Content boxes element and edit to add new publication content
or to change it.

3. A popup window would be open like in the screenshot

4. Click over clone button and duplicate the same template. After that, you can add
content as you want.

Instruction for adding and editing top slider section at 

home page 
1. Go to the Admin Panel: ​http://d8.gotoproject.net/wpigs/wp-admin 

2. Under left Navigation, you will find out “Slider Revolution” plugin. Please click over it and go to 
the setting. (The following window would be open)

3. If admin wants to add a new slider, you can simply duplicate existing slider and edit this.

How to add/edit Main menu and conferences sub-menu?  

1. Left navigation of wordpress, you will find “Menu” option under “Appearance”

2. Select the 'Menus' option to bring up the Menu Editor. 

3. Select your menu from menu drop down and click over Select option.  

4. If admin wants to add a new page/conferences pages in the menu, he should search left 
sidebar his created page/conference pages.  

5. Admin can add page/ conference pages through drag drop option.

6. We are creating conferences sub menu and displaying these sub pages through Widgets.
