‘Segregation of Solid Waste’

Location: Talegaon Dabhade, Pune.

Objectives:-
 To create awareness for segregation of solid waste into, non-biodegradable and biodegradable waste

Event Details:

 Student Coordinator :
o Shubham Gaikwad (TE MECH)
o Tejashree Pagare (TE MECH)
o Shravani Shinde (TE MECH)
 The event focused on increasing awareness about waste management and benefits in segregation into,
non-biodegradable and biodegradable.
 Volunteers made 8 different posters to display at each dustbin place.
 So that solid waste generated in college will be segregated in different bins.
 All right side dustbin are marked with non-biodegradable waste and left side dustbins are marked with
biodegradable waste.
 Posters for biodegradable wastes are colored in green and posters for non-biodegradable wastes are
colored in red for distance identification.
 All students are informed for this change by visiting them in their respective classes.
