o Synthesised and characterized the membranes and corrugated membrane for biocatalytic
membrane reactor (BMR) & successfully used them in a membrane filtration module for
simultaneous glucose production and fouling reduction from cellulose.
o Published the accomplished work as co-author in Bioresource Technology (Journal, IF: 6.7)

Research Projects (during academic sessions)

 November 2019 - January 2020, University of Zaragoza, Spain
Synthesised and characterized the nanoparticles of MOF ZIF-94 using inorganic
deprotonators for particle size tuning under the guidance of prof. Joaquin Coronas.
 February 2019 - May 2019, UCT Prague, Czech Republic
As a part of an individual project for the second semester, performed 8 laboratory
experiments with report submission, which included the application of membranes for
various purposes e.g. gas separation, fuel cells and different characterization techniques for
membranes.

Bibliographic project report on “Micropollutants, a challenge for membrane processes” as a
part of an individual project.
