GUIDELINES & MECHANICS

In line with the conduct of the search for “Ginoo & Binibining Kalikasan 2019,the following guidelines
and pageant mechanics are hereby issued for the information and guidance of all concerned .

I. INTRODUCTION
As part of the of Science Month, Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School has organized a pageant
entitled “Ginoo & Binibining Kalikasan 2019.” The activity aims to develop the confidence of students
and make them aware of the importance of using recycled materials in promoting style and beauty.

The candidates will compete on the following categories:

Popularity Vote (Recyclable Papers)

Casual Wear

Kalikasan Attire

Talent Competition

Question and Answer Portion

II. QUALIFICATIONS
The Search is open to single female and male students who meet the following minimum requirements:

A bona fide RMCHS student (regular ) and currently enrolled.With pleasing personality.

III. MECHANICS
Each candidate will compete in the following categories:

ELIMINATION ROUND : September 21,2019 (Saturday)

1-4 PM

Venue : RMCHS Covered Court

Presentation of Candidates in their Casual Wear- candidates will present themselves and the class
being represented. In this category candidates will be required to wear the casual attire of their
choice to satisfy the criteria of Design and Fitting (50%) and Poise & Bearing (50%).

Talent Competition - every candidate will be given a maximum of three (3) minutes for the talent
presentation. They are to be rated according to their Execution (80%) and Audience Appeal (20%).

Popularity Vote – there will be a recycled materials (white /colored papers) to bring as votes of
support for the chosen candidate. Every 1kilo of white paper is equivalent to 5 votes and 1kilo of
colored paper is equivalent to 1 vote.The percentage will be computed based on the highest number of
votes endorsed to a candidate. The candidate with the highest number of votes endorsed will get 30% of
the category Popularity Vote.

Deadline of Submission: September 20,2019 (11AM)

The Top Seven (7) Pairs will be chosen according to these criteria:

Popularity Vote - 30%

Talent – 20%

Casual Wear – 20%

Beauty- 15%

Poise & Personality- 15%

FINAL ROUND: October 7,2019 (Monday) at 1pm

Venue : RMCHS Covered Court

Popularity Vote – there will be a recycled materials (white /colored papers) to bring as votes of support
for the chosen candidate. Every 1kilo of white paper is equivalent to 5 votes and 1kilo of colored paper
is equivalent to 1 vote.The percentage will be computed based on the highest number of votes
endorsed to a candidate. The candidate with the highest number of votes endorsed will get 30% of the
category Popularity Vote.

Deadline of Submission: October 7,2019 (11 AM)

Kalikasan Costume – in the presentation of candidates during the Final round, candidates will be in their
Kalikasan Costume. They will be rated according to its Creative Design (50%) and Poise & Bearing (50%).

Question & Answer – Each candidate will be given one question to answer and the answer will be rated
according to its relevance, substance, & value to the question given.

In the Final Round, previous scores will be disregarded & the Top 7 Pairs will be rated based on the
final performance on the following criteria:

Popularity Vote - 30%

Kalikasan Costume-20%

Intelligence – 20%

Beauty - 15%

Poise & Personality - 15%

The Top Seven (7) Pairs will be declared as Ginoo & Binibining Kalikasan 2019, 1st Runner Up, 2nd Runner
Up,3rd Runner Up and 4th Runner Up respectively.

The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

IV. AWARDS
The following Special Awards will be given to candidates that garnered the highest score on each
category:

Mr. & Ms. Popularity

Best in Kalikasan Costume

Best in Talent
Most Photogenic Award

Congeniality Award

The Major Awards are the following:

2. 1st Runner Up

3. 2nd Runner Up

4.3rd Runner Up

5.4th Runner Up
