1. Graduates will be technically competent. This includes having the 
ability to carry out psychological protocols in diagnosis,
assessment, and intervention involving clients in various fields of
psychological practice such as in the industrial, clinical, and
educational settings.

2. Graduates will be able to apply their knowledge and skills across   


wide facets of psychological practice including marketing,
teaching, community development, research, and other relevant
professional areas where psychology practitioners are considered
necessary.

3. Graduates will be prepared for professional practice in   


psychology. Graduates will demonstrate an understanding of
ethical, societal, and professional responsibilities; will recognize
the confines of their knowledge and actively seek out autonomous
learning opportunities; and will be able to function and

6. Course Description:
This course serves as one of the requirements for counseling in preparation for
optimal performance in the course. Examination of the major models of
counseling and psychotherapy; theoretical integration; review of outcome
research; common factors model; brief counseling models.

a. Attendance
According to CHED policy, total number of absences by the students should not be more than 20% of the
total number of meetings or 9 hrs for a three-unit-course. Students incurring more than 9 hours of
unexcused absences automatically gets a failing grade regardless of class standing.

b. Consultation Schedule
Consultation schedules with the Professor are posted outside the office (School of Social Sciences and
Education and the Department of Behavioral and Human Sciences). It is recommended that the student
first set an appointment to confirm the instructor’s availability.

Film Review Outline
