Component A

1. identify storage capacity required for the condensate in Ras Markaz Crude Oil Park based on
the production profile in BP-Khazzan and PDO-Saih Rawl fields
2. different options for storage configurations and recommend the optimum option
3. Type of storage tanks and optimum sizes
4. Operating and controls of the new facilities with the current operating and control
philosophy.
5. control and automation requirements
6. Assess the firefighting system adequacy/requirements
7. Identify the power demand for the new storage.

Component B

1. identify diluent quantity for optimum quality of Mukhaizna crude oil before exporting to Ras Markaz
2. Optimum pipeline size from MOL to Ras Markaz to be identified taking into account the flow forecast and
overall crude blend quality.
3. Identify all necessary associated facilities for the pipeline
4. Study and identify storage capacity required for the diluted Mukhaizna crude oil and the South Crude in
RMCOP based on the production profile in Mukhaizna field
5. Assess the adequacy and identify any upgrade needed of the current design to handle Mukhaizna crude oil
6. Identify the type of storage tanks, optimum sizes and configuration for each scenario.
7. Align the operating and controls of the new facilities with the current operating and control philosophy
8. Assess the firefighting system adequacy/requirements

Component C
1. Validate if the Pipeline Route of Component A and B
considered separately are optimized under the scenario
that both Components (A and B) are to be developed.
2. Validate if the Terminal Storage and Export
requirements of Component A and B considered
separately are optimized under the scenario that both
Components (A and B) are to be developed
3. Present Component A and B together with a differential
analysis for the cases considered separately
4. Identify the high level technical design changes, the
necessary investment and potential flaws in the MOL to
allow:
5. Identify the technical design changes, the necessary
investment in Component C to allow for the additional
volume (pipeline and export terminal) on the same details
as provided for Component B and C

Component D
1. Identify the high-level technical design changes, the
necessary investment in Component C to allow for the
additional volume.
2. Perform Technical & Economical (CAPEX &OPEX)
Evaluation of all identified options, and present them in a
techno-economical model
3. Develop Process Flow Diagram for the selected option
for each scenario
