ABSTRACT
A smart helmet makes motorcycles driving is safer
than before. It ensures that rider cannot start the bike without wearing
the helmet. This is implemented by using GSM and GPS technology. The
working of smart helmet is very simple, vibration sensor is placed on the
helmet is connected to Arduino. So, when the rider crashes and helmet
hit the ground . The helmet send signal with the help of transmitter and
receiver receives signal to Arduino, then by using GPS module. When
the data exceeds minimum stress limit them GSM module automatically
send message to ambulance. GPS module to extract the location of the
accident, the GPS data will contain the latitude and longitude values
using which find the accident place can be found accurately. The gas
sensor detects permissible level of alcohol and also check vehicle speed
on either side of the road and generates vibrations in the bike 's
handlebar. CO2 sensor senses level of gases inside the helmet.
