EMCEE: Good evening to all of us. Welcome to (location). We are about to


begin Sharon Poyugao's 50th Birthday Celebration so please find your seats, make
yourselves comfortable and enjoy the rest of the evening.
Welcome to the party of our charming Celebrant who is now turning
into her Golden Jubilee Year. This is quite a very important event in her life and she is
very much honored for your presence. We would like to thank everyone for
gracing this very momentous occasion because as they say, you only get to be 50
once. It’s a celebration of life, and of what’s to come.

EMCEE: To spiritually open the program, may I ask everybody to please

V. Welcoming remarks and acknowledgment of guests and other VIP’s by Rev. Ptr. Ro-an

EMCEE: We would like to acknowledge the key persons who took a great
part in making this joyous affair possible. Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great
pleasure that I introduce to you the ______________ of our lovely golden celebrant, Ptr.
Roan Poyugao. Without him, her life would be empty and unhappy. Let us all give a
big round of applause to honor all the people whom she truly loved. Thank you
very much.

EMCEE: Tonight calls for a grand celebration and it is our distinct pleasure to
introduce to you for the very first time, the reason why we are all gathered here
this evening. So without further ado, let us all stand as we welcome the celebrant as
a woman of grandeur, Sharon M. Poyugao. Let’s give her a big round of applause.

EMCEE: Truly, this event would not be made possible if not for the guidance of
our Pastor, and to share with us his message of encouragement and challenge,

EMCEE: Thank you Pastor Ro-an for the wonderful words of encouragement.
We are nearing the most awaited part of the party, lunch. But before we partake
of the sumptuous buffet the catering has provided for us, may we call on Ptr. Cyrus
Cosas from _______________ to pray for our food.

X. Lunch Time and Pictorials/blowing the candle of the cake

EMCEE: Let us all sing joyfully a song I am sure everybody is familiar with,
the Birthday Song. (Happy Birthday Song)

( Sharon stands up to acknowledge the greeting)

Happy Birthday Sharon! Let us give 50 claps for Sharon. Thank you very
much. You can now blow your candles and whisper your prayer.

(after the song, Sharon goes to the candle and blow the candles one by one)

What a very meaningful evening indeed for Sharon. It becomes more


meaningful with all of you. So to show the family’s gratitude of your presence,
they have provided a photo booth as a souvenir and remembrance of your
attendance. It will serve as a symbol of her gratitude and enlightenment for your
presence on her 50th birthday.
And now, we wouldn’t delay your delicious lunch any further. However, Sharon asks
that you oblige her with a picture first. We will be calling on the table numbers
and its descriptions. Once your table is called, please join Sharon on stage for
photo session with her, and then you can go directly to the buffet tables on the
ground floor and back to your respective tables to enjoy the food served by our
caterer.

EMCEE: While some of you are still feasting on their delicious buffet and
decadent dessert, I would like to ask you to turn your attention to our stage. I will
call the celebrant to have a special song for us . Please give her around of applause.

XII. Special Message to the celebrant


EMCEE: Sharon's circle of important people in her life, as advisors, teachers,
and trusted peers. These people give speeches and advice, and state their well-
wishes for the celebrant.

XIII. Response of the celebrant

EMCEE: Sharing is one of the virtues Sharon possesses because it is what her
parents taught her. To share to us one of her talents, let us hold our breath and fix
our attention to what she will be given to us. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s hear the
speech to be given of course by our gorgeous celebrant, Mrs. Sharon Poyugao.

These treasures represent the friendship between the giver and the celebrant, because
they indicate how well they know each other. The gift is something that the celebrant
should treasure, cherish or use as she moves on.
