Four standard heights: 350mm series, 500mm series, 600mm series and 800mm series.
Specific widths and heights to 1000mm are available upon request.

Composition:
10mm Steel plate reinforced to evenly distribute any impact.
Internal crash plate supported by sectional steel mid plates covered with sacrificial front radius
plate 4mm thick, incorporating impact absorption bars.
Security and High Security units have reinforced struts placed behind the attack face and
upgraded framing.

Cabinet:
1200mm high x 900mm wide x 600mm deep. – approximate dimensions.
3mm Zintec Steel sheet finished in grey (alternative colours on request).

Mechanism:
4 kW motor. Immersed pump.
Extra Heavy Duty solenoid valves (110VDC) for reliability and safety in operation.
Approximate running pressure 25 bar.
Approximate maximum running pressure 80 bar.

Power failure:
Option of remaining raised or lowered in the event of power failure.
Manual pump option available for raising/lowering during power failure.

Interface:
Will interface with most international access control systems.

Duty Cycle: 100%.

Operational Speed
Normal Operating Speed: 4 -7 seconds.
Optional High Speed ‘Emergency’ function: 1.0 seconds.

Power:
Standard 415v/3 ph/50 Hz., alternatively, power to suit customer requirements.

Safety/Security:
Option of inductive loops and photo beam.
Security cover to prevent unauthorised access to hydraulic systems.

Manufacture:
All manufacturing exceeds BS 6571, all welding to BS 4872.
Heavy duty steel durbar top plate 10mm thick.
Hot Dip Galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461. Primed and painted black and yellow.

Installation:
The unit has its own casing and does not require a pre-cast or pre-constructed reinforced
concrete surround.

Axle loadings:
The Road Blocker will withstand any road going vehicle. The Standard units are rated at 20t
axle load, the Security and High Security units are rated for 30ton axle load.

Crash Rating:
The Road blockers are designed to meet the following ratings:
Standard unit – DoS up to K4 – 6.8 ton @ 48 kmph
Security unit – DoS K8 – 6.8ton @ 64 kmph
High Security unit - DoS K12 - 6.8 ton @ 80 kmph

Guarantee:
12 months operational and parts Guarantee.

Delivery:
The Road Blocker is delivered in two main elements - Blocker and Control Cabinet plus hoses
and connectors packaged separately.

AMC reserves the right to modify or change specifications, materials and components as
deemed necessary to meet ongoing requirements.
