Principles of Robotics: Regulating Robots in the Real World

Summary

Robots are just another manipulated machines that will help every human lives and may
not be if it will be use in unethical manner. It is not an another issue though, since the level of
intelligence of this era has risen why not creating a technology that will perform enhanced levels
of services and carry out a potential on transforming lives with the aid of Als. These robots carry
a negative and positive cause but the usefulness of this is dominating.

Considering the Asimov’s famous three law of robotics it’ll be possible to address the
governance of robotics, given their prominence. As Asimov’s law state that a robot may not
injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm, a robot must
obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with first law,
and a robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the
first or second law.

Although they provide a useful departure point for discussion Asimov’s rules are fictional
devices. They were not written to be used in real life and it would not be practical to do so, not
least because they simply don’t work in practice. In the world of intelligent robots, Asimov’s law
could always invaded and loopholes found yet his laws are inappropriate because they try to
insist that robots behave in certain ways, as if they were people, when in real life it is the
humans who design and use robots who must be the actual subjects of any law.

In other words, since almost every aspects of the modern human life has been influenced
by science and technology, robots are no longer new to us. However, robots can perform several
tasks and also can provide services that will be a great tool to help mankind and serves as a
significant innovation for the human race.
