A person was found shot and killed on Irvington Avenue in Elizabeth last night, marking the
second shooting death in the city in a 24 hour span, authorities said. Details are still limited, but
a Union County Prosecutors Office spokesperson did confirm that a unidentified victim was
found dead after an evident shooting in the 300 block of Irvington Avenue last night. Police
have yet to identify a motive, and an autopsy (AU-TOP-SEE) is scheduled for this morning to
