SUBJECT: FOUNDATION WEEK BOOTH PROPOSAL

Good day, Ms. Beltran!

We, the Junior Scientists Club together with the STEM Club, would like to
propose a booth called SCIENCE EXHIBIT this upcoming Unida Christian Colleges
Foundation Week on November 25-29, 2019. This booth is together with the DIWA
PUBLISHING OFFICE that aims to show the science behind of things on the students.
Our club decided to have other activities other than the said activities with the Diwa
Publishing Office. Also, we assure you that this extracurricular activity of ours will make
sense on the Foundation Week for the students will have fun. Also, we would like to
propose that the Multipurpose Hall will be used by the Science and STEM Club for the
whole celebration of the Foundation Week for we needed a huge space.

Objectives:

a. To introduce what science is all about and make sure that they will learn
something new about it.
b. To show more what is really interesting when it comes to science and to tell them
what is the true significance of science in our lives that will help them to develop
their brains in terms of science.
c. To showcase on them that the Science and STEM are always bringing their
traditions on celebrating the Foundation Week, just for the students to enjoy
them.
 NAME OF THE ACTIVITY MECHANICS
- With this, each student will be able
to explore the interactive activities
Science Exhibit together with Diwa that the Diwa Publishing Office
Publishing Office prepared and the staffs will be
assisting and giving a little
explanation about what they’re
about to see.
- The Science and the STEM Club
decided to borrow the human
anatomy in the science laboratory
Build-a-human and will let the students bring back
the entrails to its original places
and will make the students have
self study regarding what’s inside
of them.
- By the usage of candle and paper,
the candle can be used as pen and
Write-to-go when the paper has a candle-type
written on it, the paper will show
what is written on it by the heat
and fire of the candle.
- On this, the materials on this is
only water and constarch. The
constarch will be mixed in the
water and wait for a minute. When
Unstable Water the fingers are slowly pressed on
it, it’s swallowing your fingers for it
is too soft. But when the fingers or
hand have too much pressure, the
cornstarch and water will not
absorb your hands, it will just
become bouncy.
