Proposed Name of the Business

When establishing a business,the name of your company is probably one

of your most valuable assets and choosing a name for a company can be the

first step in developing a new identity for the business and establishing a new

image that can attract the customer attentions. The business name is

“SERENITY MASSAGE SALON” the proponents decided to name it because they

figure out that it could catch the attention of the potential customer. Serenity

was the chosen name by the proponents in order to let the customer experience

the relaxation of the body and peacefulness of the mind. Serenity Massage

Salon proposes to provide an accessible and affordable massage in Daliao, Toril

Davao City area. The business will give the customers satisfaction that they

need.

Description of the industry

This aims to promote the massage industry through showcasing their

different state-of-the-art services and discussion for aspiring entrepreneurs on

how to start a spa business. Since Massage Therapy has been growing and

increasing every year there are a lot of business entrepreneur who choose to

have their own massage spa business. In the United Stated, it is estimated that

there are 325,000 to 398,000 massage therapists and massage school

students. According to Global Spa Economy Report in New York the global spa
industry is estimated to be worth over $250 billion at the end of May 2008.
