Stay calm and do the: Duck, Cover and
Maintain emergency food,
Hold
water and other supplies,
including a flashlight, a
portable battery-operated
radio, extra batteries,
medicines, first aid kit and
clothing
Provide all family members
with a paper list of
important contact phone
numbers
In case family members are
separated from one another
during an earthquake,
contact Rosabel Pandac
and meet up in the nearest
evacuation area
Secure heavy furniture and
hanging objects
Store harmful chemicals
and flammable materials
properly
DURING
Stay away from glass
windows, shelves and heavy
object
Don’t panic and after the
shaking stops, slowly exit
the house and go to the
designated evacuation area
When outside, stay away
from buildings, trees,
electric posts and landslide
prone areas
AFTER
Stay alert for aftershocks
Assess members of the
family. Provide first aid if
needed
Listen to your radio for
more emergency
information
Stay out of buildings or
house until advised that
it is safe to return
Check for damages in
water and electrical lines
and even for gas leaks
