THE I-RISE BAKERY

Hey season's greetings to all of you! We're actually stealing a rare moment just before our
humongous Thanksgiving production to put our menu together for next month. At this moment
we are just a few hours from the yearly butt-kicking we go through in our effort to make your
holiday special. We hope that all the goodies you found with this flyer today really do make your
family day a little better. We guarantee there is a massive amount of love in every single bite!!!
We're sure you'll taste it...
So we haven't brought a mixer home yet. We thought we had found a good deal last month, but
in keeping our eyes open we are finding there are better scores out there. Basically we are trying
to put all that support you guys gave us to best use. And so far we have--the new oven is
AWESOME! Super hi-grade commercial upgrade (WAY bigger capacity, WAY better baking--we
can make WAY more granola, cookies, scones, pies, etc.) The mixer will happen soon enough,
probably by year's end, but we still have a bit more strength in our arms for kneading, so it's ALL
good.
But bread's what we're all here for, so dig it. We haven't made a Jewish Rye bread for at least 6
years, and we don't even know why! We love the flavor of caraway seeds, and they have a great
warming effect that we all could use this time of year, so that's how we're starting the month.
Week #2 we'll do a new one, the Maple Oat Spelt Bread, should be a bit sweet but kinda earthy.
The Whole Wheat Poppy Seed Sunflower's long name is a mouthful, but wait til you get a
mouthful of it--words can't express (mmmm works, though). We've been getting lots of requests
for the Crunchy Corn Bran, so that will be our gift to you for Week #4. And as usual we'll end the
year with our Country White Sourdough, the whitest bread we make. We only make it once a
year, so git it while the gittin's good!
No gigantic changes to the Specials menu this month, our Autumn Pumpkin Bread & the
Pumpkin Pie Spice Granola are our seasonal staples. But check this out--we're putting chocolate
chips in our already-irresistible Molasses Spice Cookies--off the freakin' hook! (Papa G's
favorite!!!) We're also looking forward to Orange-Pecan Scones for breakfast with a hot cup of tea
all month! We left the Dinner Rolls on the menu just in case you didn't get enough for T-Day (we
didn't). And, though the pies aren't on the menu, we'd be happy to hook you up if you ask very
nicely.
Just a reminder that a month of bread delivery is a great holiday gift for your loved ones in the
area, truly a gift that keeps giving (better than that fruit cake Grandma sends every year!) Once
we get a mixer home we will be looking to take on lots more folks, so call us if you want to make
your family or friend's holidays special with some good lovin' fresh from the oven.
Many, many, many thanks to all of you for your support for all these years! We truly hope all of
your family gatherings and celebrations this season are the best ever, and we are still in awe that
we've become a part of so many of those celebrations. It's quickly getting colder & darker this
time of year, and we all need each other to keep warm & illuminate each other's lives. Let's all be
thankful we've got all this love around us to see us through! Happy happies & merry merries.
PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
