 JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
• Configuration Services Project Engineer develops solutions for customers based on their requirements
submitted in the Technical Specification working to very tight SLAs.
• Commitment to Tier 1 with weekly 20 projects completion.
• Commitment to Tier 2 with weekly 10 projects completion.
• Expertise in Configuration Services project setup requirements as per Technical Specification requirements.
• Expertise in scripting and test diagnostics to integrate CFI requirements in factory environments.
• Expertise in developing UAT requirements to support business needs.
• Use Project Management Methodology to complete projects within agreed lead-times.
• Excellent messaging and Communications.
• Resolve all issues with quality as first principal.
• Support and troubleshoot the ODM/factory on all CFI related queries.
• Liaise with other Dell facilities to ensure Best of Breed practices implemented in EMEA
• Apply documented ISO procedures for all engineering tasks and engage with process engineering to apply
updates when required.
• Take on additional non-project work in support of CS Initiatives and Programs as required by the Business
• Develop projects to support Fulfillment in current and future Fulfillment environments (FIOF,MES,WBT,ODM,
NDBM), multi-vendor channels and 2T CFS facilities.
• Display proactive approach & engage with Quality team on escalations and queries, assist in RCA of all
issues.
• Display positive approach to working in a changing and challenging environment.
• Knowledge of FMT, PET tools, Engineering Tools.
• As Relationship Engineer, need to deliver Superior Customer Experience, view your own work in terms of
how it impacts internal and external customer; have a strong understanding of customer needs and use
customer feedback to improve processes/services.
• Take total ownership for your assigned Relationship Customers end to end working closely with the Project
Manager

Qualifications:
• Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems Architecture
• Advanced Knowledge of Desktop/Notebook/Server HW Architecture
• Advanced Knowledge of Python Scripting or UNIX bash shell scripts
• A proven knowledge of Enterprise Products, Configuration, Test and Engineering would be a distinct
advantage.
• Proven Project management skills / accredited PMI beneficial.
• Must be able to work with team members with a team player mindset as well as work on own initiative & have
strong commendable communications (listening, speaking and writing) skills.
• Must be able to work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative
are required in resolving problems and making recommendations to stakeholders and customers.
• Shift Day Job with a view to support extended hours during business needs
• Preferred to speak and write in Mandarin an advantage to support China customer.
• Engineering Degree with 5 years’ experience in a technical similar role or Diploma/Cert with minimum 7
years’ experience in a technical similar role.
