listed the most important information and tips for you so that you’ll
know what’s what when you arrive. Enjoy your stay at Stayokay!

Check-in / Check-out
You can check in any time during the day. The rooms are available from 2.00 p.m. onwards. If you arrive earlier, no
problem. You can store your luggage temporarily in the luggage area.

You can check out until 10.15 a.m.. Please remove the bed linen from your bed and place it in your room. You can
hand in the key at reception or in the appropriate mailbox. Would you like to store your luggage for the day? You
can leave it in one of the luggage areas. Book a late check-out at reception and you can use your room until 1.00
p.m.! Would you like to store your luggage and/or valuables somewhere during your stay? You can rent a safe in the
lobby for € 2.00 per 24 hours.

Food and drinks

The delicious and extensive breakfast buffet is always included in the price and is open from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
in our restaurant.

Would you like to take a packed lunch with you? You can order one at reception for € 8.00 and collect it during
breakfast.

The dinner buffet is served from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. Book dinner in advance or when you arrive and for € 15.75
you can eat in our restaurant.

The bar is open from 5.30 p.m. to 1.00 a.m. and offers a range of evening specials! Don’t miss Happy Hour starting at
9.30 p.m.! From 5.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. we have an extensive selection of bar food for you!
Good to know

Your room
Unless you booked a private room, you’ll be sleeping in a bunk bed in a dormitory that you share with other guests.
There is linen for you to make your own bed.
If you would prefer your bed to be ready made as it is at a hotel, then order our full-service package (includes made
bed, towel, shower gel and shampoo). Send an email to the hostel and ask about the various options.

You can bring your own towels or purchase them at reception. The genuine Stayokay towels cost just € 4.50 each!

Good to know
• Free Wi-Fi
• You are not allowed to smoke in the hostel or bring your own food or drinks.
• You pay for your stay in advance or at reception. If you cancel your stay before your arrival date, the
cancellation terms of the website you used to book shall apply. However, should you decide to leave earlier
during your stay, we will be unable to refund you for any nights already booked.
• The hostel has wheelchair access.
• Infants aged 2 or younger stay for free.
• No pets allowed.

Activities
Buy museum or attractions tickets at reception and get priority and/or pay less!
Rent a Stayokay bicycle for € 11.00 per 24 hours and enjoy the city the Dutch way. Discover the vibrant Indonesian
Quarter and visit the Dappermarkt. There is so much more to do in Amsterdam! Ask for information at reception.

Directions

It is easy to miss the hostel, so read these directions carefully.

Public transport
If you’re coming by train, get off at Amsterdam Muiderpoort station. From here, go along the Insulindeweg (from
the stairway turn left immediately). Turn left into Sumatrastraat. You’ll see Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg at the end
of this street.

You can also get to the hostel on the number 22 bus from Amsterdam Central Station. This bus leaves opposite the
Victoria Hotel. Take the bus towards the Indische Buurt and get off at Javaplein bus stop. Then walk along
Borneostraat. After a few minutes you will see Stayokay Zeeburg on your right.

Take the number 65 bus from Amsterdam Amstel towards the KNSM island and get off at Javaplein.

Parking
If you are coming by car, bear in mind that there is no free parking near the hostel. Parking in the streets around the
hostel costs € 2.40 per hour between 9.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. Cheaper parking is available at P+R Zeeburg. For
