apartment at your right side.

How to get to our apartment? It’s pretty easy!

BY PLANE

Bratislava Airport

I would recommend to take a taxi or uber. It takes about 15 minutes (depending on a traffic) and it
should cost around 10 EUR. I suggest to download an app “HOPIN” to call a taxi. Please, be advise
that in Bratislava it costs more to grab a cab on the street, that’s why it’s better to call them directly
or use an app (HOPIN or UBER). You could also use bus but you would need to change it once. First,
take number 61 from the airport and change it to number 78 on a bus stop “Zimny stadion”. Exit the
bus at the last stop - Nove SND, it’s right behind the corner. Once ticket at 90 cents (for 30 minutes)
should be enough.

Vienna Airport

Take a shuttle to Bratislava Main Bus Station. It takes about 1 hour. From there, take a bus number
210 and exit at the next stop “Twin City”. You could also walk, it’s about 10-15 minutes.

BY BUS

From the main bus station, take a bus number 210 and exit at the next stop “Twin City”. You could
also walk, it’s not far, about 10-15 minutes to our flat.

BY TRAIN

Take a taxi or uber or use a public transport. You could either take a bus number 210 and exit at the
bus stop “Twin City” or you could take a tram number 1 and exit at the tram stop “Safarikovo
namestie”. One ticket at 70 cents should be enough (for 15 minutes ride).

BY CAR

Please, use our address Dobrovicova 16 in your GPS. You could park right next to our building or
somewhere around a park that is right next to our building. As this is the old town area, there is a
parking fee from 8am to 4pm (1,20 eur/hour) here. Evenings and weekends are for free.

Adapter
If you need to connect your plug which is not EU standard, please use the adapter that is right next to
the big speaker.

Bathroom amenities
There is a shampoo and shower gel in the shower. If you forgot your toothbrush, there a spare one
next to the sink. Some other bathroom supplies, spare toilet paper etc are in the bathroom cabinet
behind the doors.

Blankets
You could find some blankets in a basket next to the sofa.

Coffee
You’re welcome to enjoy a complimentary Nespresso. We hope you’ll like it ;).

Dishwasher
In case you want to use a dishwasher, you could find tablets in a bathroom cabinet behind the doors.
I recommend to use a program 50 degrees.

Exercise
In a mood for some exercise? The TRX system and yoga math could be found in the wardrobe. For
the TRX, please use the hook in the ceiling close to the sofa.

Groceries
You’re welcome to use everything that is in the flat. In case you would like to do some shopping,
BILLA in Eurovea (shopping mall, 2 minutes from our flat) is opened from 7am till 9pm daily.

Hair dryer
You could find it below a sink in the bathroom.

Heating
There is a floor heating in every room. We usually set up 23 degrees throughout a day. If you prefer
to adjust a temperature, you could do so on a display in each room. Just place your finger anywhere
on a display and then adjust the temperature with + or -.

Hot water
As we use a circulation heater it takes a bit to get a hot water. Please, be patient, it takes just few
seconds.

Iron and ironing board

You could find an iron in a bathroom cabinet behind the doors. The ironing board is next to the
wardrobe in bedroom.

Lights
You could adjust LED lights with a remote controller in a bathroom, then below a kitchen bar as well
as in the bedroom (remote controller in bedroom is on the right side of the bed).

Maps and tourist guides

You could find some city maps on a table. Spare ones are in the lowest drawer in a white cabinet.

Music
This apartment is mainly about good beats. We love to listen the music and we hope you like it too.
Listen your favorite song from the big red bull speaker. You could either use Spotify premium
account on our iPhone or you could connect your device with the speaker, just use Bluetooth
“BlockRocker”. Do you like classics? Then play some record from our collection on a turntable. And
let us know, which one you liked the most.

Phone
You could use the iPhone that awaits for you at your arrival. Tel. number is +421 944 633 158. There
is a local carrier there with some credit if you need to organize anything by phone. If you need any
info from us, don’t hesitate to contact us. Our phone numbers are in the favorites (Rob & Nika).
Internet is included. You could find some helpful apps there, like google maps with some pins, HOPIN
app for a taxi or Spotify with premium account.

Projector
Would you like to enjoy some movie or TV series? Connect your device with our projector. There is a
VGA connection there, plus the connection for Mac. Pull down the screen above the dining table.

Records
Do you like classics? Then play some record from our collection on a deck. And let us know, which
one you liked the most ;).

Restaurants & Bar

A separate section about restaurant and bar recommendation are at the end of this welcome
manual.

Shower
Sometimes, if you want to use only the hand shower, water drops also from the shower head. To
avoid it, try to switch on the head shower for a minute and then turn it off, it should help.

Slippers
You could find them in a shoe cabinet.
Speaker
Listen your favorite song from the big red bull speaker. You could either use Spotify premium
account on our iPhone or you could connect your device with the speaker, just use Bluetooth device
“BlockRocker”.

Tea
You’re welcome to enjoy a complimentary tea. We hope you could choose from the selection of tea.

TV
Sorry, no TV in this flat. Everything interesting is happening outside ;). Enjoy a music, play some
record from our collection or watch your favorite TV show connected to our projector.

Umbrella
You could find some spare one next to the shoe cabinet.

Washing machine
If you like to wash your clothes, please feel free to do so. Washing gel is in the bathroom cabinet
behind the doors.

Wooden doors
Please, be gentle with the huge wooden doors. It’s pretty heavy so you should open and close it
slowly.

HOUSE RULES

1. Check-in is at 2pm and check-out at noon. In case you need to adjust these times, please
contact us.
2. Please, don’t smoke in the flat. You could smoke at the terrace.
3. Please, no pets in the flat.
4. This flat is not for party people. Even though we like music, we like our neighbors, too ;) We
are very close with people who are living in this building, there are many older people here.
So please, try to not be too loud after 10pm.
5. Please, be kind to our turntable and care the needle with love. The same applies to our
iPhone and speaker.
6. Please, lock all the access doors to our building, included the entrance gate from the
backyard.
7. Please, separate the trash, be kind to our planet ;).

• U Kubistu – healthy creative food.

• Mestiansky pivovar – great Slovak food and beer.
• Eurovea shopping mall – many restaurants at the promenade (Italian, Asian, French)

Coffee places

• Moj Bar – great place for a morning coffee with some breakfast, like 50m from our flat. Great
wine during evenings!
• Parklife – nice coffee during a day and great selection of rums during evenings.

Bars

• Michalska secret bar – amazing atmosphere, delicious selection of cocktails.

• SKY bar – great cocktails with even better view.
• UFO – yeah, the post-communist ufo plate above the bridge ;) you have to try it out.

Clubs

• KC Dunaj – multifunctional place, thematic nights

• Nu Spirit Club – some underground music
• Dole – great sound, younger audience though
