Eligibility
a) The applicant must have passed 10+2 examination in
Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics from a recognized board or university or its
equivalent
b) An applicant for an aircraft maintenance engineer’s
licence shall be at least 18 years
of age.
Category A licence holder to issue certificates for release
to service after minor
scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectification
within the limits of
maintenance tasks specifically endorsed on the
authorisation issued by a
maintenance organisation approved under rule 133B

The person should
have received Phase 2 training by 31 December 2013 or
within 12 months of joining the
organization, whichever comes later.
