Unpretty by Kathrina Bonagua

For the record I never feel that I am beautiful.

Never in my 22years of existence did I feel that I was beautiful. I am flawed. I am

imperfect . I used to question God for the way he created me.

I am near sighted, lanky, long faced girl with ugly teeth.

I am unpretty . I am imperfect Most of the time I get affected by those who tease
those who make parinig".

The media may tell us that mestiza long haired small faced girl with pearly white
teeth is the world definition of beauty.

I realized that I should not dwell on my flaws but instead treat them as my assets.

I may not be admired by many but hey I truly loved by few.

For you do not shy. To tell those who criticize. They are not perfect remember
nobody is. Who are they to tell us that we are unpretty? You are beautiful when
you inspire others
