Field Experiences
❏ Practicum at Lincoln High School and Seward High School: 2017-2019
- Planned, received feedback on, and taught lessons in a high school physical science class at LHS
in addition to attending several Professional Learning Community meetings with LHS teachers.
- Observed, provided scaffolding, graded papers, lead small groups, and taught in several different
science classes. Gained skills working as a teacher and leader in an academic setting at SHS.

❏ Physics Lab Assistant and Grader for Dr. Brent Royuk of Concordia University: 2017-2019
- Provided scaffolding and answered questions for students in an introductory Physics lab as well
as graded lab reports and homework assignments. Awarded lab assistant of the year in 2017.

❏ Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska Omaha’s STEM Summer Workshop: 2018
- Assisted students, reflected on lessons, and learned from college professors while gaining
knowledge and innovative teaching strategies for STEM and biomechanics.

- Conducted practices, developed gameplans, built relationships, and gained coaching experience
working with athletes and coaches at practices and games.
- Coached for the 2019 Class D1 State Champion Osceola/High Plains football team.

- Supervised and managed high school aged lifeguards, set schedules, communicated with the
public, and monitored chemical levels as head pool manager of the Osceola Swimming Pool.
- Received a perfect evaluation from the State of Nebraska, increased daily attendance by 22%.

❏ Vacation Bible School / Sunday School Teacher: Summers of 2015-2019


- Planned, organized, and taught Vacation Bible School for 5 years. Also taught Sunday School on
several occasions and lead a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting.

I enjoy all different kinds of athletics, coaching, fishing, weightlifting, and spending time with my friends and
