★ As your teacher, my goal is that you would learn to become and behave like mature and

responsible adults, so I plan to treat you like a mature and responsible adult. However, if

you ever decide not to behave like a mature and responsible adult you will lose that

privilege and I will have to treat you the way your behavior requires. When I do have to

criticize a student, I hope that you realize that I am criticizing what you have done and

not you as a person. Regardless of your behavior, I intend to always treat you with

respect because I believe that’s what students deserve. As long as you treat me, your

classmates, and yourself with respect, we will have no issues and it will be a great year!

★ My class rules are pretty simple. All I ask is that you ​do the right thing​ in all situations.

Whether it be completing your homework, taking tests, talking to your classmates, or

anything else that we will do in class, all I require is that you do the right thing and act

with integrity and high character at all times. These are some of the most important things

that you will learn in school, and as your teacher I will hold you to these very high

standards so that when you go out into the real world you will be prepared to succeed at

the high level that you are capable of.
