Standard:

Directions: Give each pair of students a box filled with geometric solid shapes. Instruct the
students to work with a partner to find the similarities and differences between the
geometric shapes.
- Allow 5-10 minutes for students to find the similarities.
- Allow 5-10 minutes for students to find the differences.

▢ Student knows a sphere, semi-sphere, cone, and cylinder are similar.
▢ Student knows a rectangular prism and a cube are similar.
