    To load a pipe specification (spec) into an AutoCAD Plant 3D model, first create a folder with the spec name and copy the spec files in PSPC, PSPX, and PCAT format into the folder. Then open the Plant 3D model, go to the project manager, select the PSPX spec file, and copy it to the project. This will upload the spec into the project where it can be used for piping design and modeling.

    Procedure to load spec to AutoCAD Plant 3D model

    1. Create a folder name it as per spec (EX: - VIC-AGS) Copy PSPC, PSPX, PCAT format in folder

    As shown in PIC 1 & 2

    2. Now upload the PSPX file in the model

    a) Open AutoCAD Plant 3D model

    b) In project manager > Pipe Specs>Copy Specs to Project >Select files (PSPX Files) to Project

    as shown in PIC 3 & 4

    3. Now Specs will upload in the project as shown in PIC 5 & 6
