ACTIVITY DESIGN
OPLAN DALUS TASK FORCE

I. RATIONALE
Republic Act No. 10742 known as Sangguniang Kabataan Act of 2015 seeks to uphold
youth representation by returning true spirit of volunteerism and taking youth participation away
from the clutches of partisan politics.
Nature is the life of everyone. It is wonderful gift given by the creator above. Indeed, we
are the chosen one that will care and love it. As time passes by, it seems that we are not already
embracing the beauty of nature or the environment we have. Due to the some circumstances and
calamities, nature/environment has been devastated causing flash floods, landslide, deforestation
and etc.
Today, it is explicitly evident in the status quo that nature/ environment has been damaged
because of human-being bad practices and uncertain calamities. Thus, embracing and loving nature
wholeheartedly is one way of helping our Mother Earth to become and wonderful as it is. Taking
care for nature is really important nowadays because of unexpected conditions that would lead to
irregularities.
As the saying goes this way “Action speaks louder than words”, there, it is indeed powerful
time to recognize the beauty of our nature by helping it through action by cleaning and beautifying.
So, coming up with this action, the Task Force are engage and immerse in solving some problems
on environmental issue regarding kaingin, panag-uring and etc. To solve this problem, the
environmental perspective, in a simple manner of beautifying and reconstructing the SK Area
“Sepon Area” and also some area of the barangay. It will be a great solution to provide a well-
conducive and recognize area for resting and leisure time.
Therefore, the very core foundation of this action is to create a place that would give a
better area for relaxation and for the common good of the people of Lubnac. Conceptualizing this
action, we come up basis that it is high time to provide a sustainable area by beautifying and
reconstructing. Indeed, with the great help of every youngster today, it will give a big impact on
the so called “CHANGE”.

II. OBJECTIVE
1. To create a sustainable environment on the said area
2. To promote cleanliness and orderliness by beautifying and reconstructing the area
3. To give a conducive place for resting and for leisure time
 4. To aid some problems underlying on environmental issue
5. To show camaraderie and cooperativeness among youngters

III. BENEFICIARIES
All members of Task Force on Youth Development, all Youth members including out-of-
school youth as well as the residents of the barangay.

IV. BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Task Force on Youth Development will be conducting Oplan Dalus once a month at
the SK Area “Sepon Area” and also some area of the barangay for beautifying and reconstructing.

V. BUDGET ALLOCATION
The amount of Php. 10,000.00 from the SK Fund is allocated in accordance to the
operational guidelines on the utilization of funds.
Cleaning Materials Php. 7,500.00
Snacks Php. 2,500.00
Total Php 10,000.00

VI. PERIOD OF IMPLEMENTATION

This project is targeted to implement on October-December, 2018 from the SK Fund in
accordance to the Operational Guidelines in the utilization of fund and usual auditing rules and
regulations of the Commission on Audit.
