including Ivy league universities and top European universities for regular student
exchange programs, and has emerged as one of the fastest growing institutions

Formula
Student is one of the world's most established
educational engineering competitions. The format of the event is such that it
provides an ideal opportunity for the students to test, demonstrate and improve on
their collective ability to deliver a complex and integrated product in the demanding
environment of a motorsport competition. More importantly, it helps the students
understand theoretical concepts practically and gives them an edge when it comes
to meeting the demands of the industry.

Amrita Racing
is an Engineering Design team from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. We
design and fabricate fully functional & rule-compliant Formula Student race cars.
The team was born in the year 2011 and comprises of young, enthusiastic and
dynamic under-graduate students, working towards a common goal.

FS Austria 2011
We participated in Formula Student Austria and
showed a vibrant performance.

2012 - 2015
We participated in Supra SAEINDIA held at Buddh
International Circuit, Greater Noida and Madras
Motor Race Track, Chennai. Over these years, the
team built a strong base which paved the way to
achieve a good rank.

SUPRA 2016
AIR 3, Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida
We bagged multiple awards attracting media
attention. The team appeared on the cover page of
many motorsport websites and regional newspapers.

SUPRA 2017

We were once again on many motorsport bulletins,
magazines and newspapers.

Formula Bharat 2018

Kari Motor Speedway
Within a very short window of 6 months, we designed,
fabricated and competed in the event, achieving an
all India 15th in Engineering Design.

SUPRA 2018
AIR 7, Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida
We upgraded and tuned the car to its best for the
event, making Scarlet 500 one of the most competitive
cars on the track.

Since 2016, Amrita Racing has performed consistently

well at the Buddh International Circuit and remains the
best team from South India.

We, at Amrita Racing, are currently working on a design to perfect
a racing machine that is both a stand-out engineering marvel and
an aesthetic force to reckon with. Ours is a large family of 58
members, collectively driven and constantly striving to reach the
pinnacle of Formula Student in the country. For FFS India 2019 &
Formula Bharat 2020, we have well thought of updates to design,
manufacturing and testing.

As a refuelled Amrita Racing, we are now steered set to go farther

than ever before.
