 Frequency Response of the CE Amplifier
• It deals with the dependence of the gain of BJT CE amplifier
on the frequency of the input signal.
 High Frequency Response: CE Amplifier
• We assumed that the coupling capacitors CC1, CC2 and the bypass
capacitor CE were acting as perfect short circuits at all signal
frequencies.
• The internal capacitors C and C of the high frequency model are
assumed to be sufficiently small to act as open circuits.
• Ignoring all capacitive effects, gain expressions are independent of
frequency and it holds good for the midband.
