E3 Symbol Creation

1. Run the E3 as Administrator

2. From Tools menu Tools > Start Database Editor
3. E3 Database Editor will open.
Setting the Units of Grid and Symbol
1. Go to Tools > Settings….
2. Settings Dialog Box Opens.
3. Set the Unit measurement to
Millimeter.
4. Click on (+) button of Database Editor.
5. Click on Symbol
6. Select SYBOARD
7. Set Grid Size: 1mm
8. Tick the Points radio button of Grid view
9. Set Pints: 1mm
10. Set Snap size: 0.5mm
11. Click Apply button
12. Click Ok button.
1. Right Click on an empty space of Symbol Window.
2. Click on New Symbol
3. Symbol creation Graphic space will open.
4. You Can on/off Grid point view by clicking on
1. Start Drawing Symbol using the E3’s Graphic Tools
2. Set the Symbol origin by clicking on the Symbol origin
icon

3. Set the Symbol Pin Node from the Node icon

according to the orientation of pin arrangement
4. Go to Misc_Template > TEXT_L of Misc Window.
5. Drag the Text Level to the Symbol
6. Click on Text Type icon to see the Text Type
1. Right click on the Empty space of Graphic area.
2. Click on Symbol Properties…
3. A Symbol Properties Dialog Box Opens.
4. Fill the Name of Symbol and Other required Fields
5. Click Apply and Ok button.
6. Right Click on Empty Space > Save To Database.
