Concept
The concept for this short film is to shed light on the fact that littering and
smoking contribute to the eco system more than you may think and due to
this the earth is dying at a higher and higher rate, because of littering people
are starting to think that it is ok to litter and that littering isn’t that bad but
really It is, this is why I’m creating a short film that shows what it does to the
earth via a person that litters face.

Why am I producing this production?

I’m producing this short film because I want to show to people that even the
small things they do every day to the world have their consequences and
that if you were to just stop doing those hurtful things the world will slowly
improve at and stop dying due to the cancer that is the human race

I want them to see an entertaining and thought provoking short film the
shows the audience a reason to stop littering as well as joining more
causes for the benefit of the environment instead of the damage of it.

Description of visuals Lyrics

A man walks past a bush down an

alleyway. The man gets a pair or
headphones out of his pocket Quiet recourse
puts them on and carries on
walking down the alley way

The music cuts out as he takes out

After walking for a bit, the his earphones
person grabs his back from
behind his back while walking
rustles around in it grabs out a
can, this can is then chucked
onto the grass next to him and There is a slight ringing noise as
we see a close up shot of the he opens his door

title sequence

It then cuts back to the main

character (Leo) he keeps walking
on the path that he is at and
she starts smocking and as soon
as he breathes it in the screen
glitches and he starts coughing.
This then makes him drop the
cigarette on the floor as well
as the packet that the cigarette
was in. this causes the screen
to glitch once again

The character walks even more

down the path but the screen
gets a lot greyer, the character
then grabs some recites from him
pocket and chucks them on the
ground and as you see a close up
of the paper on the floor the
screen glitches again.

After some time of the man

walking you see him grab a beer
out his backpack that has a
plastic ring on it he opens it
drinks it and chucks it once
again on the floor, this then
cause him to grab his chest the
screen gets glitchy.

The main character walks to his

house, as he approaches his
house he cough’s a bit more and
the screen goes even more
glitchy.

He gets to his door and goes

into the bathroom, you can then
see in the mirror that he has
major scars cuts and tears in
his skin

It then cuts to black and the

title Leo comes up with a small
amount of writing at the bottom
saying, “littering does more
than you think,”

Then we see a can on the floor

with the text “it takes 50 years
for this to decompose, that’s
438000 hours

After this it cuts to a

cigarette packet.
“cigarettes don’t just harm you
they harm the children that pick
them up and chew on them as well
as animals”

Then we see as scene with the

beer can and the rings around it
the words pop up saying “these
rings are dangerous and kill
animals that get caught in them
chocking them to death just
because you don’t put them in
the bin”

Then it cuts to black

Lighting Information: Solutions:

It’s mainly going to be filmed in the day so
lighting really isn’t that much of an issue other
than when we film we’ll have to make sure it’s
the day and that it matches the same weather
as before
Sound Information:
The sound of the outside may be a problem as
there will probably be planes overhead making
noise
Power Information
There is no power in this outside which is going
to be a problem because I might need external
lights
Hazards
One of the main hazards is the fact that its
outside so the actor or the camera man my trip
over causing injury
The solutions have been laid out and the facts
remain that the only solution is to make sure
that we film in peek daylight
Solutions:
A solution to this problem is the use of
overlapped sound, I will use a directional mic
and I will also record background sound to put
over the footage
Solutions:
To deal with this problem I’m going to be
making sure my equipment can all be used with
batteries
Solutions:
The solution to this is mainly to be careful when
carrying equipment and looking/finding a
useable path.
