WHERE THE RAINBOW ENDS
This is the final song of the interfaith folk-rock ceremony which
captivated so many delegates at the 1972 Convention.
Where the rainbow ends
Theres gonna be a place, brother,
Where the world can sing all sort of songs.
And we're gonna sing, we're gonna sing together, brother,
You and I, though you are white/black and I, I am not.
It's gonna be a sad song, O my brother,
Because we don't know the tune,

And it's a hard tune to learn,

O it's a difficult tune to learn,
But we can learn it, brother, you and I.
There is no such tune as a black tune, brother,
There is no such tune as a white tune.
There is only music, there's only music, brother,
And it's music we're gonna sing.
Where the rainbow ends,
Where the rainbow ends,
Where the rainbow ends,
Yes, it's a hard tune to learn,
O it's a difficult tune to learn,
But we can learn it, brother,
Where the rainbow ends.

AS LONG AS THE EARTH ENDURES

As long as the earth endures, sun and stars will shine;
Night will follow day.
And there will be a sign: A rainbow in the sky, My covenant with man.
As long as the earth endures, seed and harvest time
Seasons will obey.
And there will be a sign: A rainbow in the sky, My covenant with man.
As this I offer you: The choice of the blessing or the curse,
The choice of life or of death,
To live in hatred and in fear, Or to love and be free.
As long as the earth endures, to shape a world sublime, Man will find a way.
And we shall seal the sign: Your rainbow in the sky, Your covenant with
man.
