We welcome you to 2019 Sridham Mayapur Yatra organised by ISKCON Belagavi.

REPORTING

1. Devotees who registered for the Yatra must report to the registration desk at Gita
Bhavan (next to Namhatta Building) in ISKCON Mayapur campus.
2. Schedule for Registration will be as following:

3. If you are reaching Mayapur outside the above mentioned schedule, please
inform the registration team in advance through email (ibyatra@gmail.com) and phone
(+91 - 63661 83962).
4. Upon registration, you will be notified of your accommodation details (Building name,
Room number, Bus number etc).

ACCOMMODATION

 Accommodation for devotees has been booked in ISKCON Mayapur campus from 6th Nov
2019 (9:00 AM) to 15th Nov 2019 (8:00 AM).

ITEMS TO CARRY

1. Original Valid ID Proof (Either one - Aadhar Card, Driving License or Passport)
2. Personal refillable water bottle (Steel bottle preferred over food grade plastic). Please
avoid purchasing disposable water bottles as these are not eco-friendly and lead to
unnecessary garbage in the dhama.
3. Bed sheet for personal use.
4. Warm clothing as temperature may drop during night time in Mayapur.
5. If required, you may carry lock for room (preferably with multiple keys if you are sharing
room with other devotees).
6. Routine or emergency medicines: Diabetes, Hypertension (High BP), Thyroid, Asthma,
Allergies, Epilepsy (Fits) etc.
7. Medicines for regular usage like cough, cold, fever, pain etc; especially if travelling with
young kids.
8. Personal clothing, soap kit, towels etc.
9. Cap or Umbrella may be useful while walking to holy places in the noon.

Request you to refer the announcements during evening katha for final plan.
 Venue for morning katha is highlighted in yellow.
 Traffic congestion is expected while crossing from Krishna Nagar during visit to various
spots. This may impact the day schedule in the morning and afternoon.

INSTRUCTIONS

DO's

1. Please make yourself comfortable, and let us know if you need any help. We are at your
service.
2. Be Krsna conscious and help others also to remain Krsna conscious.
3. Once you reach the Yatra venue, make sure you register your name and get the wrist
band. This will be the id for all the yatris. It will be used to identify our yatris during
Prasadam, journey (boarding the bus) etc.
4. Emergency contact number will be printed on the wrist band. If you are lost, or in case
of any emergency, you could call that number.
5. Please wear Vaishnava attire. Dhoti Kurta for Prabhujis, Saree for matajis. Decent
clothing for children. (Do not wear shirts with mundane slogans, etc)
6. Be punctual and join all the programs on time. Especially during the journey, lectures
and darshan of various temples.
7. Please come on time for the lectures to relish the nectar of Krsna katha to the fullest
extent.
8. Be in and with the group (Co-passengers of your bus) and follow the instructions of your
bus leaders.
9. Follow the discipline, queue, etc, whenever instructed to do so. It will help you and
others to take quick darshan, Prasadam, etc.
10. Please return to the buses on time with your co-passengers.
11. Take care of children, mataji’s and elderly people. Give them first preference for
darshan, Prasadam, etc.
12. Please come forward to render seva whenever there is a need or an opportunity.
Especially during Prasadam serving, etc.
13. Be enthusiastic and come on time for Kirtans and lectures.
14. Keep your rooms, buses, the Dhama/ Tirtha, rivers, etc clean. At least let it remain as it
was before our visit, we can strive to make it better and clean than it was before our
visit. Whenever possible, we will have Dhama cleaning seva, please join us and support
us.
15. Take care of your health and be careful and choosy about what you eat or drink outside.
We will endeavor to serve you healthy, nutritious and tasty Prasadam with some choices
(moderately spiced and simple boiled vegetables).
16. Be especially careful when we go to river/ beach. Children must be supervised by their
parents.
17. During the class children must be made to play outside the lecture venue.
18. Matajis with small babies are requested to sit in the backside of the lecture hall.
19. For any assistance, accommodation, travel, Prasadam, etc. please contact the
department heads.
20. For any suggestions, feedback, grievances, complaints, etc please contact the
department heads or the Yatra coordinators.
21. Please forgive us for any inconvenience and shortcomings in our organization and
service. Please let us know, we will try to improve.

DON'Ts

1. Avoid Prajalpa, useless, mundane, materialistic talks.

2. Avoid delays during the journey. Because of one person delay, the entire Yatra schedule
may get disturbed. Do not make others wait for you.
3. Do not carry expensive jewellery, expensive mobile phones, huge amount of money /
cash, etc. Yatra committee is not responsible in case of theft, damage, etc.
4. During the lecture please do not disturb. Therefore,
a. Please keep your mobile in silent mode or switch them off.
b. Keep children outside the lecture venue.
c. Do not walk in between the class. If you come late, please sit in the back do not
try to come to the front; and if you have to leave in the middle of the class, then
also sit in the back, do not get up from the front and walk out of the class. It
distracts the speaker and the audience as well.
5. Avoid getting into arguments, quarrels with fellow devotees, Yatra managers, bus
drivers, and anyone else. Things can be sorted out coolly and peacefully..
6. Do not make any independent travel/ darshan/ shopping plans during the Yatra.
7. Do not litter. Avoid disposables like plastic water bottles, etc.
8. Avoid selfies, photography in risky areas, temples and during the class.
9. Internal travel by private vehicles, rickshaw etc. or any separate travel arrangements
during the yatra have to be arranged by the participants on their own risk & cost and the
yatra committee shall not be responsible for the same.
