Check Reagent Levels

Select Rgts/Cal

Review the second page screen

Open the middle door

Compare the reagent levels in the bottles with the


percentages on the screen
(Wash Conc, No Foam, and Auto Gloss)

Adjust the volume for each reagent, as needed

Load a new bottle of reagent, as needed

Close middle door of the instrument

Proceed to next

Inspect Sample Syringes

Inspect MC and CC sample syringes for discoloration

Wear the wrist Remove the old complete sample syringe assembly:
ground strap when Unscrew the syringe barrel to release it from the top

Discard the complete sample syringe assembly

Install a new complete sample syringe assembly:


Aspirate DI water into the syringe. Check for bubbles on
the plunger tip and remove bubbles (if present) prior to
installation
Screw the round plunger end onto the adaptor
Carefully pull the syringe barrel upward until the syringe
fitting is engaged
Turn the syringe barrel and lock in place

Select OK
Select Close

Prime the syringe


Select Utils
Select 1 Prime
Select CC F2 or MC F4 (based on syringe changed)
Select Sample Delivery Subsystem
Type 10 in the Number of primes to repeat field
Select Start Prime

Check syringes and tubing for air bubbles during priming .


If bubbles persist after priming:
Remove syringe, re-install and prime again

Select Instr Cmd from the menu bar. Select 1 Home

Proceed to next
