You are on page 1of 1

Dear Abby Grossmeyer,

It looks like the citations in your paper are well done, the in text citations are a good
addition to the summaries and I believe they are used properly. In source one you could help the
reader understand where the citation came from by introducing it in your summary. I think
source one is some sort of research done by Cerrato, but you telling the reader in the annotation
could make it easier to understand. You did well with where you got your information from. I
can tell by your citations which ones are retrieved from a website online and which ones you
found in magazined, journals, and any other type of source. I believe you did very well in citing
your sources overall.
All of your annotations do contain a well written summary. The summaries are easy to
read and understand, which I think is very valuable. Your summaries also give me a clear idea of
what the source is about and they are all connected with pasta in some way. Most of your articles
are in the 200-250 word range, this makes the summaries long enough to read and understand,
but not too long that I lose interest so I think that is good. Your last summary is your shortest
one, but I think you could expand some of your ideas in the last summary to explain your source
just a little more.
All your sources seem credible and good for this paper. Some of the sources I am not sure
where they are from, but you do well explaining what they talk about and the information you
use helps with their credibility. In some of the sources such as the first and last source, you could
possibly explain the authors a bit more to help better understand where their knowledge comes
from. Your paper so far is well written and done well with not many errors. I think your citations
and summaries are very well done and your paper is coming along great.

Sincerely,

Ricardo E. Corona
