Trainee Personal Goals:

I am working on time management since it’s the first time to teach a lesson in only 25mins. I’m
also working on making my activities creative and easy to understand.
Lesson Focus : Morning and night routine.

Lesson Outcome:

At the end of the lesson the students will be able to describe and illustrate the characteristics of
day and night.

Links to Prior Learning:

In kindergarten, the students take the same topic for the whole week and sometimes two. So, the
children are already familiar with day and night routine.

• During this lesson the students will develop:

1. Critical thinking skills: When they are thinking and playing in activity time.
2. Collaboration, Communication and Social skills: In peers activities.
3. Creativity skill: Creating fun and enjoyable activities.

Possible problems for learners: Solutions to possible problems:

The students would be confused in some cards
in the activity. Since some of the routines are
the same at night and day, such as “Brush
teeth” or “Comb hair”. Also, some of them
doesn’t know the difference between dinner
and breakfast.
I will use flash cards at the beginning to clarify
the difference. In addition, I will ask them
questions to make sure that they understood
the idea.

etc.

3. 4 different activities for each level.

they finished early, I will give them playdoh to make “Sun” & “Moon” shape.

I created three houses for each pair in the group. The students
must play cooperatively with each other. They will change
the doll clothes and move it between the rooms depending on the routine (morning or night).
