At the end of the lesson the students will be able to describe and illustrate the characteristics of day and night.

Giving points for the students who works hard will
affect to other students in positive ways.
When Ms. Maryam gives point to one of the student
points in ClassDojo for his work the other students
were starting to work hard.
a) Give 3 examples of how differentiation has been
used to cater to all learners including those with
special needs.
b) What was efficient about these strategies?
c) How could these strategies have been improved?
Before the students went to their groups Ms. maryam
explain for each group the activity by modeling. Then Ms.
Maryam went to each group to check if they understand
the activity before they start. After that Ms. Maryam place
a helper for each group to help who struggled.
Modeling is the best way for children to understand more
about the activity and by placing a helper with the children
age they will understand each other more.

The students were working hard and helping each other.

Ms. Maryam was having a good communication with the students and the students have been comfortable and good
listeners. Ms. Maryam using her body language to express and changes her voice to get their attention and using visual
resources. Managing the students by each row and sitting in a circle was a good idea for the learns.

The lesson plan was slightly detailed in providing the pictures. Ms. Maryam created the activity that matches their level and
using visual resources and uses their fine-motor skills that gives the students a better understanding of the lesson. She used
differentiation through activities since the students have different levels of abilities of understanding.

Ms. Maryam asked her students oral questions according to the lesson; she gives point in ClassDojo and for a hard-
working student she give an positive feedback to keep them up. Using her body languages and going into each group to
helped them and she told them if anyone need help, they have to raise their hand and she will help. She uses a timer to
manage the time.

Ms. Maryam uses the 360 degree which she can monitoring all students by looking and checking who is struggling and
who are in a save side and picking the helper. In all she says, “wow everyone is working very hard very good!” and the
students were feeling proud and smiles in their faces. She was assessing by going into each group and asking questions
based on their activity and at the end she set them on the carpet and start assessing by oral questions.

Ms. Maryam have a good positive reinforcement which give
the students a chance to work hard.
Using her body language and changes her voice to get the
students attention I love it!
Having a visual resource and using their fine-motor skills it
was helpful and useful for the students since each student
have different ability to learn.
During the changes of time policy Ms. Maryam were 2 min
ahead and she needs to work on her time management.
Focusing on group who are needs more supporting and apply
the modeling next to them.
Having more than one classroom management to get the
students attention and not got them distracted from you.

Me as a formal observation I felt like a professional teacher and I learned a lot from my colleague.
My colleague was agreed with me through all I wrote for her and she was happy that I was with her as a formal
observation.
