A
1. From the start of the video to 1:03 I discuss and introduce my project and define the
issue: The Irreversible Effects of Climate Change; that it’s a worldwide environmental
phenomenon and something needs to be done to save our planet.
2. From 6:40 to the end of the video I establish common ground that everyone can agree
on. Everyone loves our one home and we have to save it. I convey that there are several
things people with more power can do to combat climate change that will make a huge
difference. Also, there are little things people can do that make a small difference but
help immensely over time.
3. From :10 to :25 seconds, I identify the other side’s position of climate change, that some
people aren’t worried about it and do not believe climate change is real, and where they
get their biases.
4. From 6:10 to 6:30 I identify my side’s position on climate change. It’s a serious and
pressing issue that continues to be pushed aside when we need to act!
5. From 6:40 to the end of the video I offer suggestions for compromise and suggestions
for individuals to combat climate change and do little things to save the planet. Also,
what we can do as a population to save our planet, we can start the conversation.
B
Logos: From 3:36 to 4:30, I used evidence and logic from Greta Thunberg and environmental
activists to support that climate change is a genuine issue and people want something to be
done.

Pathos: From 4:30 to 6:10, I incorporated pathos using values and human emotion. I did this by
applying rhetorical music and images to show the audience the effects of climate change.

Ethos: From the beginning of the video to 1:00, I include credible and established resources and
good character. I displayed clips from the news, Greta Thunburg and established politicians.

C
From the beginning to the end of the video, I included an introduction to my topic, effective
transitions between each section and I linked ideas together in a way that made sense. I
showed images and clips of the impact of climate change; news about it; ideas of what should
be done.

From the beginning to the end of this video, I included textual and visual evidence, by using the
tone and of my voice, clips from the news and emotion-provoking music. I am proud of and
happy with my project. I worked so hard on it and felt very inspired. I spent hours refining and
critiquing my work to make it the best and most professional it could be. I really enjoyed this
unit; showing my final project and all I learned at the end of the unit was such an
accomplishment that made me feel great!
