REFLECTION TWO
Monroe’s motivation sequence:

I think that this organizational pattern is very helpful. It can make your speech very clear
and easier to understand for the audience. It gets right to the point and after, it creates the
speech/outline very inspiring.
I can say that this technique is very effective, it can make one’s speech/outline very
professional and organized. It also helps with getting your points across and breaking things
down which makes an audience agree with what you are telling them; convincing them.
I used Monroe’s motivation sequence in my persuasive speech by following the outline,
topic, main ideas, transitions, etc.
I will use this technique in my future projects when I need to give a professional speech
or even when i want to persuade someone about a certain topic. It is very effective and I like how
organized it is.
