Topic: there is/are

Aims
Determine when to using the linking verbs 'is' and 'are' when speaking and
writing. Identify the plural or singular subject in a sentence.

Content
The students will learn to talk about a city break; the exercises cover places to
go, what to pack and identify places in a city. There is an also a grammar
activity on there is/are, in which students complete spaces in blank.

Methodology
Time: 15 min
First, I will start to talk about city break by showing them some places they
would like to go. After that I will show them an image with figures would like to
pack in a trip. Next will be introduce the rules how to use there is/are at the
singular and plural form. Thereafter I will give them an activity will take 1-2
minutes and then will be correct on the board. After will be presented positive
sentences and negative sentences about there is/are. Following the rules, we
will do an activity will take 1-2 minutes and will be also corrected on the board.
The penultimate subject will be about questions how to form them answer
them. And last one will be an activity about questions that will a take 1-2
minutes

Materials
Slides and discursive exercises will be used to understand the theory.

Evaluation
Talk about a city break; exercise activity about there is/are; conversation;
