AIM :
•To understand the five elements of nature and five senses as a healing and
integrate the passive cooling techniques in design.

OBJECTIVE :
•To study the Passive cooling techniques and application of techniques in design.
•Educate on how adding natural healing spaces to a healthcare setting can help
improve a patients results.
•To study the five elements of nature.

SCOPE :
Integrating passive cooling techniques (sustainable design strategies )will also
help in promoting the comfort and healing process of patients by minimizing the
impacts on the users of the clinic and the environment as well. Statistics show that
over 40% of all illness is psychological so nature cure imbibe soothing energy of
nature to the mind. Nature cure center aims at establishing an integrated resort to
provide total relaxation for mind and the body.
NEED :
Chennai is one of the fast growing cities in Tamilnadu . They are so busy
with their respective jobs that they do not have the time to think about their
physical and mental health. Even if they want to do so, while they have a host of
gyms for their physical exercise .they hardly find any for their spiritual
development .Hence this naturopathy centre favours holistic approach with non
invasive treatment.

What is nature cure center?


Nature cure center is a center which accommodates diverse system of medicine-
but to address “the fourth dimension of our health – our mind”

Relevance of nature cure in todays world?


• The stress and strain which the modern man is constantly beleaguered from
all sides –pressure from his work place, the demands from the need to spend
quality time. Man badly needs solace and a place to rejuvenate himself.
• Todays world is going back to the nature in all aspects of their life from the
construction field to the health sector.
Naturopathy is the form of treatment of diseases through
elements of nature. Nature is made of five elements

• Jla ( water)
• Vayu ( air)
• Agni ( fire)
• Akash ( sky)
• Prithvi ( earth)

These elements also constitute body

REQUIREMENTS
The CM said that undergraduate and postgraduate courses in yoga and
naturopathy would be started at the National Institute of Yoga and
Naturopathy Medical Sciences.
Also world-class care in therapeutic yoga as well naturopathy, particularly
for chronic diseases as well as non-communicable lifestyle diseases, would
be provided at the institute. Moreover, a hospital with research unit, hostel
for students and quarters for employees will also be constructed at the
institute, he said.

OBJECTIVE :
•To study the growth of Christianity and development of indigenous
architecture of Kerala , through socio- cultural history of the religion.
•To establish the evolution of the original indigenous church architecture
of Kerala.
•To compare the original indigenous church form with church architecture
of west

SCOPE :
• A lot of discriminate damage have been already done to the historical church
buildings of Kerala which should be actually a integral part of rich cultural heritage
of Kerala .hence to establish the original indigenous church architecture this
design is brought up.
