MINUTES OF THE MEETING AT ‘’CENTRE MEDICALE SAINTE

The meeting started at exactly 2:22 pm with a word of

prayer from Mummy Fanny.

Services Done At Centre Medical Sainte Danielle

 Laboratory, kinesitherapy, maternity, minor surgery, ophthalmology,

dentist, cardiology just to name the few!

Work Starting Time And Ending Time

 Work starts from 8 o’clock and ends at 6pm and may be extended if there
is any patient hospitalize. We all discussed about the addition of
personnel.

Conclusion: Ma Toto concluded that from January 2019, the number of

personnel will be added in the respective departments like:
 A security guard
 A state registered nurse whom is able and capable in general
nursing.
 The building of a gate and insertion of bells up and down stairs!

The Sales Of Medicine And/or Medical Products

 Patient(s) should be given the right prices of drugs and/or lab tests.
 The medical personnel should not sell their personal drugs to the hospital
patient(s)
 Medical personnel not take hospital patient(s) to treat at home
 No STEALING (feel free to ask)
 The lab technician should always make sure that an exam is payed
before the exam can be done
 Medical personnel can collect specimen(sample) from patients in the
quarter to carry out tests in the clinic
 If a medical personnel is ill, treatment can be given to he or she with a
reduction of 50%
 Injections And Wound Dressing

We discussed on the manner and the way by which medical personnel

use hospital equipment like syringes, gauze, spirit, betadine, just to name
the few.

Conclusion: it was concluded that the medical personnel should collect

money for injections, wound dressings and should endeavor to pay
money for the equipment used if the patient came without his/her
equipment

Cleanliness / Hygiene

Personal Hygiene
 All workers should put on clean dresses
 Hospital jackets should always look neat
 Avoid touching bench tops with bear hands without gloves
 Always put on gloves during treatments
Cleanliness of the hospital
 Hospital must be clean by the cleaner everyday
 Bins must be emptied everyday
Things needed to improve on the hospital sanitation
 Solution of decontamination
 Increasing the number of taps
 Hospital wears (jackets) provided by the hospital with the name of the
hospital written on it
 Endeavor to wash hospital equipment before and after use
 Addition of five (5) bowls, buckets, coverts, and waste baskets
NB: all these is done to prevent nosocomial infection

 Treating every patient without discrimination

 Working time of the lab technician
Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The lab technician should explain to the nurse on how to collect specimens
and the type of tube in which blood should be collected
